Towns and Cities
A cozy Town in the mountains filled with a few shops and plenty homes. It is said that shadow Pokemon haunt the deepest caves of Carinea but no-one has ever seen them yet. The villagers have no fear of the Pokemon because they don't leave the cave, but many don't take the shortcut that leads to Liatris City in fear of them.
A town separated from Cascade by a large forest. It's a small cozy town with a Pokecenter and market, offering help to trainers who need advice or a place to rest.
Cascade City is a water based city, surrounded by shores and beaches. It's known for it's amount of tourists who come here to sunbathe or try out their specialty of Berry Juice. Cascade City also owns a Gym that attracts travelling trainers. This would be their first Gym on their journey through Itro.
Because of it's coldweather, Naeva is less popular among the visitors. Itro's rather tropical climate has one area that completely negates any warmth coming near; Mount White. Located at the foot of this large mountain is Naeva town and right next to it lays lake Frore. Half of it is frozen over, the other half inhabits Pokemon that love the frost.
Athera Town is a small town higher up in the mountains. All citizens know each other and if someone is in trouble they will stand up for that person to help them out of it. Athera is known for it's hospitality and their Gym specialized in flying type Pokemon. Once a year they have a ceremony to pray to the bird pokemon, hoping their travel will be safe. People in Athera feel very drawn to birds and bird-like pokemon, therefore adore the myths and legends of the legendary bird pokemon.
This city is not one of the most touristic places but has tons of flower gardens where grass and bug pokemon come to grab their nectar or simply feel at ease in the soft wind and sweet smell of flowers. Butterfree often swarm on the open fields with flowers, giving it a very peaceful look. The citizens of the people are known for their quality herbs, potions and honey. Liatris city owns a grass-specialized gym too.
Ventheria is the second city to host Pokemon Contests, first in chronological order of difficulty. It is the perfect resting spot for most travelling trainers. This city is not only famous for it's contests, but mostly known for the types of meteorites that are found nearby the plains of Bolide falls. In attempts to toughen up for their coming up Gym battle in Bistre, Bolide falls offer the perfect training with it's deep caves and waterfalls separating each floor from the other with their own small lake. The higher up you manage to get, the tougher the wild Pokemon. A bridge crossing waters connects this city to Ferrite city.
Bistre city has it's own harbor. People often start in Bistre city with their travel if they arrived with a boat from another region. They have close connections to Driftveil city when it comes to shipping items between Unova and Itro. There is a gym that specializes in Fighting type pokemon, often used to help in the construction of the harbor. This gym is the fourth in ranked order.
Advenia is yet another area that hosts Pokemon Contests. Not only that, but the Pokemon Daycare center is located only a few miles north of this city. It's a rather small town where every inhabitant is friendly to the other, willing to help out any stranger.
Ferrite city is huge compared to all of the other cities, making it Itro's capital city. Ferrite owns the Steel Gym, the sixth along your travel. Not only are there plenty of homes to live in- big or small- there's always something to do. From Casino's to shopping centers. Hotels to cafes. The city is supported by immensely large steel pillars elevating it above water level. This gives the perfect view of the deep sea it's resting above. Two large bridges connect this city to the main lands of Itro, leading you to either Terces or Venthera city.
This city is located near a cave that leads from Carinea town to either Liatris city or Terces city, depending on the routes they take. Many people prefer walking though to sight see and to avoid the rumors of the dangerous pokemon that haunted the cave. It is said travelers that entered the cave never found their way back. Terces city has it's own gym which counts as the sixth one.
This island is located in the far Southeast area of the Itro seas. It's a peaceful, little island and it owns the seventh gym. Halaya Island has a memorial tower for the Pokemon that passed away. The people who live on this island strongly believe in stories of the afterlife and they praise ghost pokemon instead of feel scared. They say that if they respect these pokemon they will watch over them like a guardian and protect them from harm. When one disturbs the sleeping Pokemon in the Tower of Repose it is said they will be haunted by the guardians until they sacrifice a dear belonging to calm down those who got disturbed.
Amberwing City is where trainers can collect their last badge as proof they are strong enough to participate against the Elite Four. Amberwing is easily found on a map but less easy to actually reach. It's located on mountains that grow higher and higher the further you travel up. To reach Amberwing you have to climb mountains and your entrance to the gym is denied until you have proof of owning the other seven.
Victory Road is a steep, long mountain road. There's a small town ahead of there for those trainers who need to rest and where they can eat. Right behind it is where a cave is located full of mazes. Teamwork between you and your Pokemon is needed to make it to the end where you will find the Elite Four. Behind the huge castle-like building where battles will be held and trainers can rest and prepare themselves is a mansion where the Elite Four resides when not in battle.
