It was another typical day for the wandering mimic in this strange and fantastic world that is Gaia.
Having decided to get into the holiday spirit, he put on a fuzzy Santa hat and a cute, not-so-little scarf, grabbed a bag of toys, and set off to spread the holiday cheer as only a certain, little, happy-go-lucky mime can.
Of course, one man's sour mood concerning the holidays just had to ruin Bartz's fun.
Monochrome bots began to swarm the rosy-cheeked wanderer as he began handing out toys and gil gold to all the people of Gaia.
"Refrain from spreading holiday cheer," they demanded in their eerie, electronic monotone. "Or, we shall force you to stop."
Bartz simply cocked his head in confusion. "'Stop spreading cheer'? Why would I want to do that?! It's the holidays, guys! It's a time of celebration!" He reached into his bag to pull out another super-soft teddy bear to give to the lead officer. "Here! Take one!"
The head bot took the toy in hand, much to Bartz's joy, only to rip the head off the bear and tear the rest of it to shreds. Bartz stood in stupefied shock as bits of fabric and stuffing fluttered gently onto the snow below.
Bartz would not stand for it. His tone of voice changed from jovial to deadly serious "... You have some nerve..." He then summoned his mimicked version of Squall's Revolver and Zidane's Ogre and pointed the Revolver threateningly at the hoard, "to ruin the holidays in my presence."
The world stretches before you; full of possibilities.
