This is an attempt to revive the RPing in this guild. For this RP, there are no real rules. Pick a character, or make your own. Originally, there used to be rules for making and submitting characters, but as a restart system, this RP will ignore them, and just encourages you to post and intereact and have fun RPing.

Our plot is set right outside of Midgar, where there have been reports of strange happenings. Animals have gone crazy and rampaged, and any still living plants have grown poisonous and almost sentient. This could be a sign of two things. Too much concentration of Mako, or of Jenova cells. The Turks have been assigned to check this area out, but undoubtedly, others will want to come and see what's going on. Will they be met with friendliness or resistance? It all depends....

Feel free to post!

Saerenna got out of the ShinRa company helicopter. One of the many assigned to the Turks. There was definitely something going on here. The air reeked of decaying flesh, and she realized what it was quickly. To her right was a wolf that was devouring the meat off of something that looked vaguely human. Or rather, used to be human. Had the wolf killed it or something else? The dark wolf's eyes turned to her, but instead of seeing the hard, calculating look most wolves carried, this one's eyes were glowing green. Froth dripped from it's mouth as it looked at her with the gleam of insanity. It appeared that it wanted her for it's next meal. Saerenna gripped her staff defensively. If this wolf tryed to attack her.... Well, she never was much of a fighter, preferring to work as a side, support person. She sent a small signal out, to see if anyone nearby would come, but it was very unlikely. Who would be out here at this time, much less respond to the call of a Turk. So, she faced the slowly approacing crazed wolf, preparing for whatever may come.

In the middle of nowhere, a large armoured truck was seen heading to a certain destination. This truck is most likely to carry convenient vehicles. Where was this truck heading? No one knows. It also appears to be that ShinRa owns this truck as you can tell from the logo on the sides.

"Alright..." The driver reached for the intercom that was located next to the steering wheel. "...I'm gonna drop you off at the recon point. Be sure to be back once you've finished your rounds, kiddo. No straying off somewhere too!" It ended with fuzzy loud noises as his thumb releases the button, waiting for that certain someone to reply.

This truck is here to send a ShinRa employee to do a patrol. Obviously, someone is in the back of the truck, and that someone is a Turk.

"Yeah, yeah..." A voice was heard coming through a small speaker next to the intercom. "...Don't tell me what to do old man" The voice belonged to Millia Bloodraven. ShinRa's youngest Turk, a prodigy in the use of firearms, short or long distances.

"Okay, we're here..." The driver stopped the truck, settling it on top of the platform.

"Just open up the doors already." She said in a tone of irritation.

The driver grumbled to himself for Millia's 'couldn't-care-less' attitude. With that, he opened the back doors. The doors slowly opened as it made low hovering-like sounds. As the doors were halfway opened, light beamed through the gaps, revealing more of what was inside.

Millia was on a motorbike which was provided by ShinRa but owned by Millia. It was black and silver in colour, modified to Millia's preferreble taste. She was seen slinging a XM8 carbine assault rifle with the XM320 add-on (Grenade Launcher Capabilities) over her right shoulder, then pushing it to the back so that it won't interfere her when she's operating the motorbike.

When the doors fully opened, her bike roared as she twists the throttle. When the ramp was down, she exited the truck with speed a little bit faster than usual.

"I'll be back here on time..." She said as she stops by next to the truck.

"Remember, you only have an hour. If you're not back here by then--" The driver did a recap for her but being the way she is, her bike roared once more and off she goes.

"--See ya!" She waved to the driver without looking back.

"Hey! I'm not done yet!!" The driver shakes his fist violently. "Damn brat! If you're not back here by then, you're on your own kid!!" Pissed, he stayed there until she was out of his sight, he was familiar with Millia's attitude, so things like this is likely. "...becareful kiddo." wishing that she'll be alright.

As Millia was out of his sight, he drove off back to the Healin Lounge.

Millia's job is to explore this area in search for any unusual happenings and the like. After a few minutes of exploring, Millia still found nothing unusual. Until it was finally time to get back to the recon point, there, she saw a flare flying up high in the sky. When it reaches its point, it faded, leaving a trail of smoke to whoever that launched it.

Thrilled for some fun, she made a screaching turn, heading towards the distressed signal. Speeding through rough terrains and dogding rocks of all kinds, she made her way up a hill. Making a turn, she can see someone from afar. Noticing the garments that the person is wearing, there's no doubt about it...

"So that explains the helicopter..." She thought to herself, remembering that she saw a ShinRa helicopter earlier today.

Meanwhile, the rotors of another Shin-Ra helicopter could be heard in the distance... It seemed that someone else was arriving on the scene. The helicopter did not land though, it remained in the air as though patrolling the area first for any signs of life.
"See anything down there!?" The driver called out over the loud sounds of the helicopter blades turning. "Not yet!!" Reno yelled back as he peered out the open window of the copter. "Nothing, yo." He looked as though he was ready to jump from the aircraft and just go searching on his own. They weren't going to find anything searching up here...not like this. "Yoooooooo!!!! Anyone out there!?!" He yelled out in hopes of a response. Where were the other Turks?

[ w00t for revival~! xd ]

Nearly reaching her destination, she can now identify who that Turk is. It was Saerenna, her senior. Looks like a wolf is bothering her. Slowing down a bit, her right hand reached out to grab her rifle and when she got hold of it, her bike came to a complete halt.

She took a look through the scope, aiming near the wolf's feet to distract it. When its focused on her desginated location, she fired a shot. It startled the wolf but not enough to make it run away. It turned around, now looking at Millia straight in the eye. Millia smirked, lining her rifle to the side. The wolf dashes out for her but Millia made a quick getaway. dodging the wolf's attack, she arrived next to Saerenna.

"Yo! Senpai! Wanna ride!?" Waiting for Saerenna to hop on aboard, sounds of rotors of the helicopter can be heard. Millia's attention now diverted, looking up to the helicopter.

"Yoooooooo!!!! Anyone out there!?!"

Millia recognise that voice. Could it be? Yes! it is! It was Reno-senpai! Millia grinned widely and waved to him, but then the grin faded fast when she remembered about the wolf. Just when Saerenna have already hopped on aboard, The wolf launches itself towards Millia, hoping to get a bite out of her but failed when Millia and Saerenna sped off to a certain distance before turning around to face the wolf once more.

"Hope you got this one Saerenna..." Millia smirked lightly, watching the wolf get up from its fall. Hoping that Saerenna will take out the wolf.

(( Yay! This makes me so happy. ^_^ ))

Saerenna grinned, relieved as she was now not alone with this crazy wolf. "Thanks Millia." She jumped aboard Millia's motorcycle and nodded when she was addressed, "Yep, I got it." With that, she shot a fire spell at the frothing wolf. The animal yelped, but it didn't stop it's approach. Odd, wolves were supposed to be very susceptible to fire magic, proving that this was no ordinary wolf. She threw an ice spell at it with her staff, but again, it just seemed to make the wolf even more angry and vicious. "Hey, Reno sir, we could use some help here!" She called to the helicopter above, readying another spell. In the distance, howls could be heard, signalling that maybe this one wolf wasn't the most of their problems....

Sabel shifted on her Chocobo. Great just what she needed, Turks she thought with a griamce. Her Siblings had sent her to investigate the site, to search for Mother's presence. They'd known the Shinra would be arriving, but since Sabel was still being punished for her earlier willfullness she was elected to try the dangerous spot. Her electricity scorched kodachi was running with the blood of hte many monsters which had atacked her and both the Descendant and her mount were looking the worse for the wear. Despite all this, she was fully determined to show her worth to Mother. Mother would understand, even if her Siblings seemed to have abandoned her to her fate.

OOC: I really don't think the other Descendants would have left one of their own to the Shinra, even if they were punishing her, I have a very good guess they are probably somewhere nearby watching. While they want to be sure she learns her lesson, they probably aren't going to let her get killed. I hope sad

"What? Whaddya want me to do about it, yo!?" He yelled out back to the two on the bike. He didn't have a firearm with him, so he couldnt attack the wolf from where he was. Nor, did he have any useful materia on him, except for a bolt spell and an unmastered quake.
"Hmm.." It took a sec, but he did the only think he could think of at the moment. Walking back and shoving the copter driver out of the seat, he took control of the aircraft and started a slow decent toward the enraged animal. "You two, get out of here now!" He shouted to Millia and Saerenna. "I'll take care of this thing..." He said with a smirk as he made a manuver over to the side before pushing a button that opened the slots on either side of the copter to reveal the attack missiles.

Unheard above the roar of the chopper was the tweaked gait of a horse. However by the sound of it only two hooves ever touched the ground. Freyr had spotted Reno as he had topped the rise of a hill, noting the danger immediatly to the apparently unarmed Turk. In his haste to offer his own assistance he lost sight of the red-haired Shinra employee as he galloped into the valley between one rise and the next. When he cleared the second minor peak he spotted the rabid wolf. No sign of the Turk, but the grass was thick, perhaps the man had been injured or some such. Freyr waisted no time. His hind-legs surged him forward forpaws gliding across grass and packed earth. His arms reached toward his whithers and grasped his Glaive, pulling it from it's sheath with practiced ease. The blade whistled into a blur above his head and as he reached the crazed beast he reared, powerful Equine hindquarters supported his immpressive mass while deadly claws swipped threateningly at his foe. The Glaive whirled in his hand as he impossingly glared down the Lupine. Freyr couldn't risk fighting too closely with the beast lest the unfortunate Turk he'd caught sight of earlier lay in the grass. But he was not a Chimera and an ex-SOLDIER for nothing!

After watching the wolf taking damage from Saerenna's spells, Millia smirked, but her face soon changed to disbelief. She can't believe spells like these aren't affecting it that bad! Millia furrowed her brows, her grip tightening around the throttle.

Millia quickly turned her bike around in the opposite direction, and after hearing Reno, Millia shouted him a reply.

"I was about to do that!" She shouted in a sarcastic tone.

Stones and dirt flying from the friction caused by the back tyre as the bike dashes out in full speed.

"Hang on tight Saerenna!" She advised her, cause when she goes full speed, she really means it.

Hoping that they aren't heading into the direction of where the other wolves are, Millia got ready with a lightning spell in case they are heading towards them. It was lucky for her to bring some Materia along but she had Saerenna, but hey, its better to be safe than sorry.

"I just hope Reno-senpai knows what he's doing..." wondering if Reno will pull off some reckless stunt, but that wouldn't surprise the two girls.

Saerenna clung tightly to the motorcycle as they sped off, keeping an eye out for anything that might need her attention. She was a little wary about how fast they were going, especially over such uneven ground, but she trusted the other Turk.

In her scanning of the area, something caught her eye. Perhaps because it was a large plant, in an area where, if there were any plants, the foliage was small and scarce. She watched the thorny plant with disbelief, as it seemed to move swayingly in the wind. The only problem with that was...there WAS no wind. Continuing to watch the odd plant ahead, Saerenna nudged Millia, "Watch out for the plant! I think it's...sentient." She yelled above the roar of the motorcycle's engine. She hoped her warning wasn't too late, as the plant shot out thick, spiky vines right in the path the motorcycle wold take in a few seconds if Millia wasn't quick enough to change their course. Saerenna started a fire spell, but she didn't know if she'd be able to activiate it in time.
PostPosted: Sun Feb 19, 2006 10:22 pm
Too worried thinking about Reno, and because the motorbike's engine was too fiercely loud, she only caught a glimpse of what Saerenna had said. "A sentient...!!??" Millia looked around hastely. "Where..!?" Finally catching what Saerenna mean, Millia spotted the spiky vines that was coming their way. But would they be fast enough to evade it?

Millia made a quick 360 degree turn, tyre's screeching agaisnt the rough terrains. Her right foot touched the ground, just to push up and support the bike so that it won't fall, then it quickly settled on the pedal again. More debris flying about as they made the turn.

And as they were about to speed off again, the spiky vines pierced through Millia's right arm. The bike came to a halt, Millia's right foot now planted on the ground firmly for support and her left hand gripping the vine that pierced her. She ripped it out of her arm fast, so that the pain would go quickly. Millia tossed the vine to the ground and then covers the wounded area.

"Saerenna...destroy it quick..." choking on the words, she then groaned softly, trying not to sound loud. "...before it shoots another one" Millia made her speech quick in order for Saerenna to receive her message before that thing fires again. Millia also needed time to mend her wound, its better to get it done quick than to wait. Especially when there are more than one individual.

Millia gave it glare as she undo her tie, planning on using it to wrap up her wound. And when the tie is now in her hand, she wraps her wound tightly. And when it came to the knot, she used her teeth to pull the remains of the tie to complete the knot. Her hands now gripped to the handles, ready to go...

[ Gomen o_o I didn't know you were a centaur. So sorry sweatdrop Maybe in my next post after Sae-chan replies. Just take it that Millia went too fast to see him and that saving her colleague from the wolf is her first priority. sweatdrop ]

(( Yeah, I just figured we were going in the opposite direction and wouldn't see you.... ))

Saerenna nodded, unleashing a firey blast of magic from her staff at the living plant. The plant gave a wailing shreek, indicating that it had at least been damaged. She tried again, wishing that she would have taken the time to level up her materia some more. The plant keened in pain and started retreating. With one more blast from her fire materia, the plant turned 'tail' and ran off.

Leaving the viney plant alone, she turned her attention back to Millia, "Are you alright!?" She exclaimed, remembering that the other Turk had gotten hurt. She cast a quick cure on the injury, to keep it from bleeding profusely and getting infected, keeping her eyes locked in the direction that the plant had run.
