An Abandoned town lies in the middle of a forest, it's streets now nothing but dirt and cracked asphalt, grass poking out from every crevice. Chickens and livestock have found ways to survive in the fields without people, and their dogs have done the same.
On the North edge of the dead village, firther into the woods wolves have moved in and hunt the cows and chicken, as well as deer and elk. They have taken a few buildings, and they are known by the dogs for their larger, sleeker, gorgeous forms and elite power and skill. On the South edge, dogs and mutt wolf-dogs have banded together, protecting one another from the wolves that dislike the curs and 'weaker ones', or dogs. They have taken more buildings and houses, and mostly hunt the small livestock and chickens. They are not skilled hunters, nor do they know to properly form packs. They are constantly breaking out into fights, no alpha reigns here. Some of the wolves hate the half-breeds, and will try killing them, even the pups. There are those who disagree, and side with these dogs, who were once owned by humans, which is seen as enslavement and a ripping away of rights by the indignant wolves. There are those that are pacifist and then those who protect the half-breeds, for how were these half-breeds made in the first place? not from dogs alone.
Some wolves may have a secret, and will hide their lineage from the wolves who want nothing to do with curs. For what if the most respected has a mate that's a collie? Or has a labrador for a parent? These are their battles and struggles to survive along the outskirts of this emptied town, with secrets buried deep, and dissaray marring the relationships among the wolves and newly-independent dogs. Please follow this guild's rules, and Pm me the profiles. Layouts are in the Profiles section here!Rping will not start unless there are characters for each side. If you were previously involved in this roleplay, message me for your old profile. I saved them all :3

☾Luna☽
The pale silver she-wolf trotted along the outskirts of the Northern side of town, her head tipped upwards to scent the sky. With each step she grew closer to the dogs' side, and she constantly checked the air for signs of her old labrador friend. With a sigh, Luna shook her head. He was probably out hunting, her brother of a dog. The wolfess turned and gave up, returning to the center of the wolfs' side of town. ((We're open :3))

((Yay!))
Dark grey fur slipped in and out of the dim light. A male was stalking a wounded bull - a rarity for any part of the town. He had spotted it just outside the territory and gathered some acquaintances to go take it down. There were only three - at first. Blade had made it clear that the kill would be his. The other had seen this crazy wolf purposefully get his comrade killed by the bull. Blade had plans for this wolf, too. He played innocent and pretended not to know that the other wolf knew.
Currently, the two were stalking the bull. Blade came up from behind, while the other would come around to the front and surprise it with a slash to the neck. Or, that was the original plan. Just as he saw the other's eyes, Blade let out a ferocious bark and lunged, clinging onto the bull's back with teeth and claws. It barreled forward and literally trampled the second wolf.
Blade had to bite back a yelp of triumph as the bull suddenly reared. The grey wolf leapt off the bull's back and suddenly rolled under its deadly hooves. On his back, he swiftly lashed out with his paw and slashed open its neck - narrowly missing the jugular. But this didn't stall him. He snapped his jaws on the bull's jugular and suddenly it rolled over screaming, further smashing the already half-dead other wolf and killing him.
The bull and Blade rolled several times before the over-sized male cow finally came to a shuddering halt on its back. The dark-gray wolf wasted no time in letting go and gripping on of the horns in his powerful jaws. Slowly, he began to drag the carcass back to the pack.

☾Luna☽
Luna circled around and laid herself beneath the overhanging shadow of a decaying building. Normally this wouldn't be considered safe, but it had yet to completely collapse so she doubted it would do so in her presence. She crossed her forepaws and laid her head down, sliding her eyelides closed. it was comfortably warm, and until their hunting party (Or Jake) arrived, she had no reason to get up and escape lethargy.
>--» Fira «--<
The ill-tempered red wolfess trotted around the boundaries, skirting the usual announcement building. The Alpha would climb to the top and howl out for a gathering, bringing the group closer whenever there was news to be shared. Fira was an aging wolf, not familiar with stiffening muscles yet, though a hair or two on her muzzle were gray. She was six, a more experienced member of the pack and very proud.
Nearing the treeline, she felt an unfriendly vibe and, without sniffing the air, knew it was Blade. No other wolf had such an uncomfortable aura. Though she was prideful and vain of her breed, she was not terribly unkind unless it came down to dogs. This differed when it came to Blade. She'd been there when the Alpha had his first daughter, and that made her uneasy to be around the murderer. The sound of him tugging the carcass closer to the town made her lip her upper lip and bare her teeth instinctively, stepping away from the direction he came from.

Blade let go of the bull's horn for a moment, standing back and panting like he'd just run a marathon. He cocked his head to one side and listened for several moments, several scents catching in his nose. "Fira?" He called, still breathless. "Is that you, Fira? Could you help me drag this bull back to the pack?" He asked, scanning the area. The red wolfess wasn't exactly his favorite, and he hated asking for help, but he thought it might do him a little good. However, he didn't wait for an answer. Blade gripped the horn again and slowly stepped backwards, pulling the bull with him.

Black Feather The purple wolf walked out of the woods hesitantly, looking around. She was very skinny and she had been running for about 25 miles. She fell against a tree panting heavily, she had been run out of another pack/clan again. 'Will any wolf accept me...?' she thought sighing. Her red eyes looked around for other wolves and for prey. She soon saw the town and shivered thinking, 'It must be abandoned... Animals must of took over, better stay over here where its safe for me...' She saw no prey or wolves so, she fell asleep, forgetting all her problems and worries.

She went slightly rigid, hearing her name, but nodded and approached, Fira grasped the other horn in her maw and proceeded to drag the bull back to camp, before realizing something was wrong. She stood stright and eyed the male. "Blade." She barked. "What happened to the others?"
☀ Jake ☀
The yellow labrador frowned as he did his rounds near the wolf border, smelling Luna's past presence. "Missed her.." Her grumbled, having narrowly missed his friend. Oh well, he had to tend to his own side as well and she knew that. He sniffed the air on his side, catching something unfamiliar as he neared the woods. The dog's ears pricked in interest but his tail laid low in caution as he neared for investigation.
(Directed at Black Feather, just going to jump a gun or two and say she's close enough to be noticed so she can get involved in one way or another >w<)

Blade let go of the horn and practically sagged to the ground. "They were killed by this beast." He sighed, sounding older than he was. He looked genuinely upset that his acquaintances had been killed. "There was nothing I could do about it, I'd have been killed too if I had tried to save them..." He trailed off, adding a sniffle before turning away. "This bull will feed the pack for days, they knew that and knew what they were getting themselves into.."

Black Feather She woke up insistently at the smell of another animal. 'Ah damn! Got to hide! Got to hide!' she thought panicking. She got up and started to run around in a circle. She then collapsed and gasped in pain,"Gah! Ah shoot..!" She then clamped her mouth shut, biting her lip in pain. It was her side that was hurting her and she noticed that she was bleeding. 'Damn... I was too busy about getting away I forgot that I got hurt... Someone just kill me..' she thought whimpering. 'Now I'm gonna get eaten by some strong animal...!! I'm too young to die! Ok I'm like a million years old but, I still act like a young pup and look kinda like one... I want to live!!' she thought, going into more negative thoughts. She kept squirming and she yelped in pain, her panicking/squirming was getting her into more pain. ((Ya.... Sorry.. ^^;;; ))

The older wolf narrowed her eyes all the more but shook her head. If that was what he said, so be it. She wouldn't ask questions. "Of course it will feed the pack. It was a healthy bull, a successful, great catch." Despite her distrust, Fira dipped her head in a congradulatory gesture before resuming tugging on the corpse.
☀ Jake ☀
Jake turned away and snifed the air yet again, only to be brought back by a yelp. His head rocketed skyward and he looked all around. "Who...Who's out there?" He called. "If you're not here to cause trouble, then step forward. If you are here to cause a problem, kindly turn and leave. We can do without any excess violence..." The labrador grumbled the last part, looking around still.

Blade was careful to keep up the act, nodding his head gravely before grabbing back onto the horn and helping her to haul the carcass to the pack. The wolves would eat well for days to come thanks to him, and he smirked inwardly. All at the expense of a few lousy hunters.

Black Feather She sighed and slowly got up, whimpering silently. She walked out from her hiding spot and blinked. She didn't think a dog would be here and heard that dogs were weak from other wolves, but still bowed her head to show didn't mean any harm. "Um... Hi.. I'm Black Feather..." she said lifting her head. 'That's a good thing to say Black Feather. Why don't you just jump off the world now?' she thought. She then collapsed once again and howled in pain, she had landed on her wounded side.

The aging wolfess had taken a silent oath nver to believe a word this traitor uttered, but his facade was well played and planned and executed. Well enough acted out that she didn't ask any further, and proceeded to walk in her quiet until the bull was well in the center of camp.
☾Luna☽
Luna's nose caught the scent of fresh meat and blood, her stomach jumping at the thought of a feast and reminding her how long it had been since her last meal. She bounded around the weed-eaten buildings with her tongue lolling until the pair of familiar shapes near the bull became apparent, neither of which she was overly exuberant about mingling with at the moment. Her pace slowed and the silvery shewolf became more submissive and hesitant.
☀ Jake ☀
The labrador's tail waved in a casual greeting, mirroring her somewhat submissive and nonthreatening attitude. He nodded in greeting, but scented blood. He didn't need to ask about the wound however, as the shewolf yelped and fell. "Jake," He hurriedly introduced himself, rushing to her good side and hoping she wasn't prejudice like some, if not most, wolves. "Come with me, come with me.." The dog urged, nosing the uninjured part of her to try and get the wolfess upright.
