So, I dun have a title, I'm leaving that up to you people. anyway, here we gooo. (Warning, not apropriate for people with a history of seisures, french fries, or anyone under the age of 972.) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Who am I? That seems to be a question I’ve been asking a lot. Who am I, And what gives me the right to carry out this task? As I creep into the building and take on my designated post, a man in a suit walks up to me. Lucky I got there when I did, or I would have looked more suspicious. “Pardon, But who are you?” He asks me. “Sir,” I salute. “I am rookie bodyguard Jade, currently training under senior bodyguard Fredrick.” I state. He nods. “Carry on, then.” As he walks along his way, I watch my partner slip into his position. “Good work. Jade.” He winks at me. We both know about ‘Jade’ being my designated name for this mission, but in no way is it my real name. “Let’s just get this done and over with, I’m tired.” I complain. I pull my gun out of my belt, and keep my knife hidden in my boot in case it was needed. My partner nods and we follow silently along until we arrive at the throne room. “So Her Royal Highness isn’t here yet.” My partner stated. “Don’t be so idiotic.” I snap, and pull him back a step. “You don’t think this room wouldn’t be protected, would it?” I grabbed his hat off his head and threw it where we would have stepped. It burst into the flames. “Follow me.” I sighed. Though my partner ‘Fredrick’ is older than me, he has a lot less experience on the field. I jump and do twists and turns through the invisible minefield, while he follows behind a little shakier. Once we get far enough, I tuck into a corner, and pull my gun out. “Stay here.” I say. “Don’t come out until I tell you to.”
My partner nods and stays in his position as the queen starts walking toward her throne. Perfect timing, I think. I shoot a bullet, aiming just beside her head, and the palace is in an uproar. This bullet, however, is carrying a special message from me. The Symbol of a Rose embedded in the side. The queen knows this Symbol all too well, and she makes it clear. “This Bullet,” She screams at the top of her lungs. “This is the bullet that murdered my father!” She exclaims. Yes, it is you rotten little roach. And it’s the bullet that will murder you, I think. I aim for her head and fire my gun, but the bullet doesn’t release, and my gun doesn’t work. “Fine,” I whisper to myself and pull my knife out of my boot. The knife is also embedded with a rose.
I pull up my hood and run out of hiding, my face was covered in blood from my previous mission. “Sweet Dreams.” I say my favorite catch phrase. It’s my way to say “I’m sorry. I don’t want to kill you.” And I stab the knife into her chest. The queen coughs up blood, and it spatters onto my face. “And just because you are who you are, I’ll kill you in the afterlife as well.” I also say that, meaning “But I’m really not sorry.”
“Halt!” The guards shout at me. “I don’t know any murderers who listen to that line.” I say to them and flip my way out of the throne room, my partner quickly after me. After we escaped the castle and were far enough away, we sit down and rest. “Nice work Lucy.” My partner says, calling me by my ‘real’ name. Well, as real as it can get if you’re me. “Easy enough,” I state simply. “It isn’t like I haven’t killed hundreds of times before.” And I have. I have killed so many people, sometimes for work, and sometimes just for the fun of it. I enjoy the pleasure of watching them scream, or choke, or try to hold on to life as the light leaves their eyes. The smell of blood drenched over my body after brutally murdering someone. Right now the guards will be running around, desperately trying to hold onto their queen as she dies. Just thinking about it makes my blood boil. “Let’s go out again.” I ask.
My partner shakes his head. “You’ve done too much today, Time to take a shower and be done with it.” I complain. “What? I’m not done!” When it comes to the house rules, it doesn’t matter if I’m a more experienced assassin. What he says goes. “Fine,” I grumble as I walk into the ‘house’. “Assassin Rose, Completed your mission, I presume?” Jed Scar, my higher up, asks me. “Well you presume correctly. I always complete my missions.” I snap at him. I would have broken his neck years ago if he hadn’t have been the one to bring me here. When I was a baby, Jed had been sent out on a mission to kill my family and retrieve me. He had only been twelve at the time, but he successfully murdered my mother and father, and brought me here. Jed was then assigned to train me. Ever since I could walk I had been taught how to kill, murder, and escape. Now, being at the age of twenty five, He’s more like a father to me than anyone else, but he’s a pain. I escape to the bathroom and take a shower, wiping the blood off of my face and out of my hair. I wrap up in my bathrobe and walk into my room, shared with two others.
“Did you hear?” My roommate Deph Blue asks me as I walk in. “What?” I ask him. He shrugs “Guess you didn’t then, they say a couple of us got murdered out on their mission today. The only one that came back alive was Jed.” “What?” I exclaim. “Why didn’t I hear about this?” I sighed. I knew the answer; I only went on a billion and one missions today. “Never mind, what was the mission?” Deph shifted positions. “So, they were on a mission to kill some family of 8, apparently they had guns and knives ready, murdered them all. They weren’t expecting it, and Jed was the only one not walking into the house, he said ‘This should be an easy job, go in by yourselves. Then Raven had crawled her way out of the house and told Jed to run, and then he came back here.” I wasn’t sure what to say about that, except, “Wow.” “Yeah,” Deph said to me. “Everyone’s blaming Jed; think he set it up, not me though. He’s skilled at his work, wouldn’t kill his teammates.” I shrugged. “You never know.” I said, and it was true, with Jed, you really never did know. He was a tough nut to crack.
“What time is it?” I yawned. Deph looked at a clock. “It’s 3 AM. Going to bed?” He asked. “Yeah, wake me up at noon.” I crawled into the one bed my roommates and I shared. “G’night.” I said as Deph left the room. I felt like I had barely slept when I woke up and Jed was above my bed. “Quiet.” He said, putting his hand over my mouth. “Don’t make a sound.” I looked out the window to see it was still dark out, so I must have just crawled into bed. “Stand up.” Jed ordered as he got off of me. “And be quiet.” He had his gun trained on me, and I was defenseless so I was hardly in any position to disobey. I crawled out of bed slowly, still wearing my bathrobe from last night. “Hurry up, change into something practical.” Jed said, keeping his gun trained on me. I thought about leaping for my knife on the table, but my better judgment told me that gun beats knife, and I decided against it. Still in no position to argue, I changed into something practical, a loose white shirt and baggy tan pants. “Good. Not keep quiet.” Jed ordered. He opened my window and told me to jump out. I looked at him like he was crazy, but I still did what he said and landed skillfully on my feet. Jed quickly followed behind me, and nudged me with the barrel of his gun, a sign in victim to say “Hey, get moving.” I walked farther and farther away from ‘The House’ when Jed said that I could stop. “Alright,” I said as he set down his gun. “Tell me what’s going on here, I deserve an explanation!”
“Okay,” Jed said. “I’ll tell you. When you were a baby and I was sent out on a mission to kill your parents, it wasn’t your parents I killed.” “So what does this have to do with you ‘kidnapping’ me?” I asked. Jed sighed. “I’m getting to that part. I killed the whole family. Even the girl I was supposed to retrieve that night.” There was a pause. “It was because I had already found you.” Uh…What?
“Are you going all crazy in your old age Jed?” I laughed nervously. “I’m not old and I’m not crazy, I’m telling the truth. I killed the whole family because I already had you.” Was I supposed to understand this? “Alright, tell me everything.” Jed agreed to this very easily. “When I was sent out on a mission to kill a family and retrieve their daughter, I somehow ended up walking into a cavern. Not sure how I got there, I wasn’t even supposed to be anywhere near a cavern, but it’s like something called to me. It was covered in vines and thorns, but there was one spot that wasn’t. It had like a soft light glowing, and there was a baby at that light, it was you. There was also a letter by you, and I was supposed to give it to you on your 16th birthday, but I don’t know when that is. I figure you should read it now.” Jed handed me a letter and I looked over its contents.
I read it out loud. “Our Dear little Mycelia, if you are reading this then you have turned 16 and learned that there is something very different about you then any other normal person. We can’t explain all, as I fear there isn’t enough time, but we shall leave you with this letter and explain as much as we can. You come from a different dimension; you are the key to the future, and also a deadly weapon if fallen into the wrong hands. I fear that the enemy sent to assassinate you is close at hand, and your father is going to deliver you somewhere safe tonight. You are only 3 months old, our beautiful Mycelia, We worry far too much, and we planted post-hypnotic suggestion into the nearest boy we could find. You might have been raised by him, you might think of him as your father, or brother, and I guess he could be, he is your guard, and will always be your guard, trust him with your life. Love your mother and father, King Xemos and Queen Imaria of Reign.” Tears were rolling down my cheeks, a letter, an actual letter from my real mother, and my real father. “My mother and father are royalty? But where is Reign? I’ve never heard of it.” Jed studied my face and it grew hot. “Now do you understand? Lucy, tell me you understand.” I looked at him. “I… I don’t think my name is Lucy… I think its Mycelia…” I said to Jed.
“You understood why I took you? That place can’t be trusted. Please, I’m the only one that knows where you were found when here, you have to trust me.” Jed looked at me with pleading eyes. And I do, at that moment I absolutely and completely trust Jed, My trainer, my father, my older brother, and so many other things to me. “I understand.” I say. “I trust you. Lead me there.” I said to him. Everything seemed so clear to me now. I wasn’t Lucy, or Jade, or any other name I was given. I was Mycelia and nobody else, I was a princess of some country called Reign in another dimension, and I was me. “I’ll come with you, but only under the condition that you let me bring Deph.” I said to him, I didn’t care what Jed said. Deph was my trusted friend and partner, he was like a brother to me, and I wouldn’t leave without him. Jed sighed.
“Very well,” He said. “I’ll see what I can do, wait here.” Jed was off, I knew the woods well and could easily follow after him, but decided not to. There was a lot to take in; it was hard to believe that I could be from a different dimension. I lay down on the stump I had been sitting on and shut my eyes. For the second time that night I felt like I had just fallen asleep when I was shaken awake by Jed. “Here you go, one Deph as requested.” He said to me. Deph waved to me and asked if I could explain what was going on. I gave Deph the letter and after he read it he handed it back to me. “Well.” He said, not sure how to respond. “My best friend’s a princess, that’ll be fun to brag about.” He joked back at me. Deph was one to always joke no matter how bad the situation could get. I loved that about him.

I'm not sure what you should name it, but it's really, really good! Much better than i could do. You came up with all of this yourself right? If so, much better imagination than i have too. All i'm good at is making OC's for already created things or using already-created characters in random plots. I love it!!!

Lol, yup, came up with it all on my own, but it took me four hours. All I knew is I wanted to do something with an Assassin.
