I'm getting a new pet sometime in the summer.. Just getting a little head start on this. Can anyone help me think of a name for a Sugar Glider? I'm not sure which to get.. A male or a female... But let think of both names. I want to try out a Japanese name for a glider... I just want something for change.. All the pet I used to have in the past are just plane-ole-name. My first pet was a gerable (her name is Rachel) and she died quickly.. I stepped on her accidently, I was little... After that, a pet rat.. His name is Ben, live up a good 3 years of life. Than a pet Guinea Pig, his name is Fluffy. Also live up a good 5 years of life.. Then a pet duck! His name is Lucky the Mallard, he still livin up good but my mother and I had to get rid of him since we have to relocate. At least he in a good area for Mallard protections.

Then I want to get a Sugar Glider, sometime in the summer...

Sugar Gliders, also known as Australian Flying Squirrels, are small marsupials kin to possums found in the tree tops of Australia, Tasmania, Indonesia, and Papua-New Guinea. They came by their names from their diet of sweetened fruits and the ability to glide from branch to branch with their membrane flap from their arms to their body resembling retractable wings.

Commonly they are categorized as pocket pets from their loving nature and small size. Anyway, for the names...

I'm thinking of naming my Glider as Momonga, also means Sugar Glider in Japanese(?).. But, it doesn't sound very...kakkoi (cool). <__<;

If a Japanese had one of those, they'd name it something short and cute.

Piko and Momo are the first that come to mind. Hmm.. something short that ends in "ko"?

You can get them at your local Exotic pet store in pretty much, any major city.

I'm from Las Vegas, there a Pet Kingdom that sell different animal like Monkey, Sugar Glider, Austrailian Mouse, Potbelly pigs, birds, reptiles, etc...
