There should be none of this involved. The items should be self-contained and replenishing - no matter what the cost. There is absolutely no reason you cannot have extremely expensive items meant only for Alchemy that are available to everyone that can afford it.

No, I don't believe that everything to come out has to be involved with "irl money".
It's absurd that everything they make is, and it only serves to further my opinion that they're nothing but an uncaring, greedy company that doesn't deserve at least 3/4 of its userbase.
