As much as I would like the "hating" to end, I doubt it ever will. It is just something that we will have to deal with until the christians finally open up their eyes. Unfortunately, I doubt that they ever will. The best we can do is be the best people we can be and hope that enough of them realize that we aren't bad people.

I have no idea why Christianity is apparently the only "okay" religion. I try to let presecution roll off my back. Then again, I'm not actually "Out" so it's easier to pretend. But at school when someone says something bad about witches or magick, I spaz. Hating sucks a**. sorry to put it bluntly, but it does. Maybe someday people will GET OVER THE FACT that there are gonna be people different from them in the world. We can only hope that day comes soon. And babes, I know it hurts so bad...

Everyone knows, except my parents. I had to tell them that there was still a chance that I would become a Mormon again so that they wouldn't have the Missionaries hounding me all the time. Other than that, most people know. They also know that it really isn't smart to say anything to my face because they will get proven wrong!

Ok. It is really starting to get to me that my parents have such a problem with my beleifs. Does anyone think that they will ever be able to get over it? Will I ever be able to stop trying to hide it from them? Why can't they just love and support me for who I am, and not care about what I beleive in? The more I study and learn, the more I want to limit the people I allow to be a part of my life to people that either support me, or just don't care about my beleifs. Why can't parents just deal with it? I'm 22 years old, and they are still trying to make my choices for me! Why can't they stop? crying Is there something that I could do that would open their eyes maybe?

I have to agree. But i can give an explanation as to why Xtians (Christians) Bother us and everyone else for so long; 1. the inqusition: the corrupt church at the time altered their books and texts to change one passage to "Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live", when the orginal was "Thou shalt not suffer a poisoner to live", and changed the names of our Gods and Goddess and befouled their images so that the ignorant would believe that we were the evil people. 2: This country was based on, and started from, Xtain churches so their standards were the ones that became the norms for the whole country... Combine the two, and there is your answer.

I'm making my confirmation this year, and when I got to visit Grandma+ Grandpa in the states this summer, I'm a good catholic girl who says her prayers every night and doesn't put icky things near her mouth. But every other time, i'm a witch. I think Mama knows. God, If she didn't get it from the talk we had on the train then she IS dense. Now there's only Dad...wish me luck
