Hey guys, I'm gonna be your host for this fun little event. I just thought that since we weren't really doing anything special we should try something new! :3

Okay, so here's how it'll work, if you want to join:
- If you want to participate, post here saying so. After you've done that, PM me the title and artist of a song that you think would be fun to hear someone sing.
- Please try not to pick a song that's too difficult, long, offensive, etc... We wanna have fun, so keep it reasonable. If you REALLY want to, you can pick something from a different language than English, but the person singing needs to be able to get lyrics they can read.
- After the deadline for applications [which is noted below] each participant will be assigned to a song randomly.
- They will have a certain amount of time to record themself singing their song and after they've done that they should e-mail it to me at jessierdr[@]gmail.com as an MP3. Not WAV, not MP4, not OGG. MP3.
- After I get everyone's MP3s, or the deadline comes [whichever's first] I will put them all in a .RAR and put it on Megaupload for everyone to download so they can laugh at how horrible you sing. P:

And then we vote on who did the most entertaining karaoke! :3

For voting, I want you to listen to everyone's songs before you vote. Even people not in the competition can vote. Vote via PM to me stating your three favorite singers from greatest to least, like this:


The deadline for sign-ups will be August 11th at 12:00 AM EST. So like, the midnight that transitions the tenth to the eleventh. That gives us one week.

The deadline to send in your songs will be August 25 at 12:00 AM EST. That will give you two weeks to sing your song. Long enough to get an opportunity to be home alone so you don't embarass yourself in front of your family.
