Personality:Dante can be cold and distant from those he doesn't know and/or doesn't trust, discounting anything they have to say or just flat-out ignoring them. Get to know him, however, and he opens up, regaling the listener with tales of his own Pokemon journey or ideas and opinions on common subjects. His greatest love is for literature and very frequently Dante can be found in a cafe deep in conversation with another patron about the merits of certain novels or poems. Dante deeply trusts those he calls friends and his fellow gym leaders and is willing to defend them to the death, if necessary. However, he expects the same back and betraying his trust is the fastest way to stoke his anger.

Physical Description: Dante has black hair that falls over the upper half of his face and startlingly blue eyes. He wears a black jacket that is always zipped up tight, a pair of dark jeans and black boots. His wrists and hands are bound with white strips of cloth. His Pokeballs are attached to a black leather belt around his waist, whose clasp is in the shape of a howling dragon.

• Dante has published multiple novels and while not immensely famous, has enjoyed his share of the spotlight. This, coupled with his status as the final Gym Leader in Etrua, has led him to try and stay below the radar while in public.

• Approximately a year ago Dante had an encounter with the Legendary Pokemon Mewtwo that led to the two of them creating a lasting friendship. The psycat spends much of his time in Genesia hiding with Dante, though it is a completely open partnership.

• Dante's first Pokemon was a Dratini that he found as an egg and raised by himself. While he formerly was uninterested in Pokemon, this discovery led the young boy to develop a fascination with Dragon-type Pokemon and ultimately set him off on his own journey.

• While Dante has achieved the eight badges of the Etruan League, he never challenged the Elite 4, instead choosing to return home and working on his budding talent as a writer. When the former Gym Leader of Genesia stepped down, Dante volunteered to take the job, customizing the facility to suit his new vision.

• During the middle of his Pokemon journey, Dante took a brief vacation to Johto to challenge their circuit. While he was unable to complete it within the two months he was there, Dante managed to obtain several of its badges and acquire a few of the native Pokemon.

• Dante has made a point to never catch a Pokemon that he did not intend to use.

• Dante occasionally does breeding on the side, procuring rare Pokemon for those who seek them. He will only give them to those he feels are truly deserving though.

Personality: Ashe is very brash and obnoxious at times, frequently offending people and caring little for it. He can be a bit of a showboat and slightly arrogant, and disagreeing with his opinions is the fastest way to make him your enemy. He doesn't care much for what others think and does what he wants, when he wants to - however, if you do manage to worm your way into his good graces, Ashe is a loyal friend and willing to help out - thought he won't openly admit it.

Physical Description: Ashe's hair is in perpetual disarray, but in his opinion looks best when its messy. Ashe wears the same clothing regardless of the weather - rain, snow or shine, he's dressed in a t-shirt (usually black) and a red lightweight jacket. He perpetually wears a black messenger cap and a pair of jeans that he rarely, if ever, changes out of while in the wild. His tennis shoes go likewise, and he wears the same pair until they literally start falling apart on him. He keeps a sidepack filled with his items and Pokeballs, which frequently means that he needs to dig through it if he needs to switch Pokemon.

Allegiance: None. Ashe does not join with others, but may work with them if their goals happen to coincide with his or if they're headed in the same direction.

• Ashe has a great attraction to the concept of luck - he loves using inaccurate moves with high power due to the chance of failure that it brings and the adrenaline rush that results.

• Ashe dislikes not being able to use his Johto team and almost refused point-blank to choose a new starter. He eventually acquiesced, but doesn't plan on using his starter for long, if at all.
