A young red head relaxed into one of the black barstools her black pants blending into the stool. Her fair skin glowed in the light as her fiery hair caressed her shoulders and black top.She ordered a rum and coke and received her drink moments later to enjoy the first sip joyfully.

She turned around at the other women's voice ordering a drink and gave the other a warm smile."Hello."She said her voice sweet as her blue eyes looked to the other girl.

"Good."She replied sweetly taking a sip of her own drink.

Kamien; tall, slight, and with hair that could only be likened to a messy mass of tobacco, slips through the door uncertainly, and peters cautiously around the bar stools and pool table to the bar. Tall as he is, he seems lost, and tiny behind the big oaken bar. He tries to make eye contact with the barman, who seems intent on fiddling with the ATM machine, and pays him no attention for a long time. Patiently waiting, Kamien glances over at the drink in front of the darker haired woman. He frowns in puzzlement, and doesn't notice the barman finally siddling up to serve him. He orders meekly, and after being delivered his own Goldschlager, sits apart from the two women, but not so far as to be unnable to eavesdrop. He sips quietly in the corner, rests his feet up on a footstool, and leans dangerously far back on his stool, a book seeming to appear from out of nowhere balances itself on his lap though he doesn't seem to be paying it much attention, peering instead over his glass at the women, only pausing to frown again at his own drink on first sip.

Kamien's gaze drops from the two girls at the bar, and settles on his book. He frowns in concentration as he slowly flips through pages, reading quickly, but mouthing words every now and then - clearly struggling to comprehend them.
His ears p***k up slightly to the entrance of the third woman, but his concentration remains rooted to the book for now.

Yes, because it never notifies anyone when someone did reply on here. So yeah, that would be a good choice.

Kamien; who had gotten lost in his book after the kerfuffle had died down, looked up and blinked in surprise to see a leather-clad woman asking him a question.

He looked so taken aback that someone was talking to him that it took a few moments of stuttering before he answered. "Uh.. Wha...? Oh! Uhmm... It's a bit weird." He tilted the book up so that the cover was visible, it read Foucault's Pendulum - Umberto Eco.

He took a sip to compose himself, but having forgotten that he had ordered a drink he was not used to the taste of, it served only to make him almost drop his glass in surprise, and frazzle his nerves further.

He looked up embarrassedly from the drink, hoping the dark-haired woman hadn't noticed his clumsiness. Knowing full-well that she had, however, he opted for a new tact and smiled embarrassedly. "Sorry. I didn't spill it on you, did I? Serves me right for trying drinks I've never even heard of." His gaze returning to the book, he says "Yeah, it's a little pretentious, and so hard to read that it's an almost masochistic endeavor, but it's oddly rewarding. Once you can get past the fact that good chunks of it are written in French, Arabic or code, that is."

He begins to enquire if the woman reads much, but pauses part way through the question, realizing that he doesn't know her name.

"Uhhh... It's Kamien by the way. What can I call you?"
