His robes were ripped apart and shredded, his impact armor over his torso was exposed on the left side of his stomach, and most of the bones which decorated his robes were broken and hanging freely.

While moving through an area where cover or some obscuring factor is present (buildings, people, fog, etc.), the practitioner gains a moderate bonus to speed and reflex. > Skill: Multitasking: While the first two stages of the style revolve around the very basics of how to use a bow, the third stage incorporates the use multiple arrows into a more stylish way of battling. Mastery allows the user to simultaneously fire multiple arrows with any technique that does not specifically state otherwise, and allows the Arrow Creation technique to create up to three arrows at once with no increase in cost. > Skill: Manipulation: Manipulating the bow itself is simple, but controlling the arrows is very difficult. Many enhancements can be made to arrows to give them different flight paths, but buying those kinds of arrows is expensive and making them is difficult, so a method was developed wherein the user can freely alter how an arrow flies without need for such trifles. During this training, the user practices firing arrows with abnormal hand positions. Reduces the Stamina cost of bow-related Bukijutsu techniques (including Formless Styles) by 10 Stamina, to a minimum of 5 Stamina. > Skill: Adaptability: For the most part, the style thus far has focused on techniques to be used while stationary. Her sights set to stare at somewhere about Sonyo's knees or the floor. "Failure taught me to withdraw and prevent any ruptured organs and that I don't have enough respect among my peers to get anyone to command any orders. But, I wouldn't press any errors on yourself today. Your emotions were being toyed with and today the witch got the better of you in a rough patch. I was only so fortunate as to not have any stronger ties than just ally, back there. Even I can't hold this poker-faced facade for long and I'm barely just more than a tenderfoot genin." Her head and neck were straightened out again. The puppeteer assumed a dry expression and looked around for anyone who remained before she set her eyes on her empty, open palm. Her brow furrowed briefly as she saw the foundling object was gone but dismissed it as a way of thinking "good riddance".
Sonyo's congratulatory statement sounded unreal. It wasn't an ingenuine comment, no, but with the circumstances being so unusual with a dreamlike opponent the promotion seemed as if it wasn't real. It felt as if all she did was prepare herself and offered her unheard observation to a bunch of genin and held her tongue with the truth of the matter. Her dry expression caved into a smile that was more than one could call 'half hearted'. "It would be rude to not thank you, even if it weren't true, so thank you."
A genuine smile that felt nice to feel on her face after feeling shunted aside in the shadows for so long. Just a moment was spent together her thoughts before she began to speak again. At the reaction of both the hyuuga, and Sadayo, at her words-- sonyo felt her exhaustion dig itself deeper in to her. It had been so long since she last slept, and she was so emotionally tired... She was so tired that, even when Nari appeared ragged and damaged, her reaction was much more muted than normal. Shukaku mumbled softly in the back of her mind, though the force of his words led the young woman to believe the beast was actually shouting through the seal.
"Your body will fail eventually, pathetic woman."
Sonyo carefully took off the crown Nari had placed on her head, managing a small and halfhearted smile as she reached up to place her hand on his cheek. "I knew that arrow was yours... My reckless love... what am I going to do with you...?" Worry filled her eyes behind the tired glaze that covered them, her hand trailed from his face to the cloak of bones and feathers that surrounded his mantle. Her slight smile turned to that of a light frown, trailing one of the feathers. "This strange cloak again... Just like before... I wish you didn't have to wear such things. Life is cruel... " Weakly shaking her head, Sonyo let her hand drop back to her side, and the woman turned to watch Sadayo begin to walk off.
"Sadayo." Her voice carried a rare tone as she called out to the younger woman, a tone more befitting of a chuunin than one of herself. "You can rest knowing I think no such things. I know you don't believe my encouragement or my words, but nothing I've said is untrue, nor will it ever be. Being different is not being cowardly, being different is not weak... I struggle to remember such things myself-- but just because we are not like our fellow shinobi does not me we are any less useful, any less brave, any less brilliant. Never forget that." Gesturing for Nari to follow, Sonyo made her way out of the VOID HQ and towards the academy per Ayame's orders.
