Okay, so this is one of those rant kinda threads, but it actually has a point to it.
So, I got in a pretty bad breakup around the 10th. My now ex-girlfriend cheated on me three times with a guy in the military. He leaves later today, but that's another story. I am not getting back with her, so don't worry. But like, for about 3 weeks of the month, I cried myself to sleep, but it was in weird stages. The first week was from depression. The second was from anger, and the third was from happiness. I'm a moody son of a b***h when I'm hurt. Get over it.
Anyway, about the middle of the third week, I heard this awesome, awesome song. So much power, so much feeling, so much emotion in the words, I felt them. Disturbed's song(which is a U2 cover), "ISHFWILF". Omaigawd. This song just hit me like a redneck hits deer when he's drunk. I'm from Missouri, I can make jokes like that. "I have climbed highest mountains, I have run through the fields, only to be with you. Only to be with you. I have run, I have crawled. I have scaled, these city walls, these city walls, only to be with you. But I still haven't found what I'm looking for. No, I still haven't found what I'm looking for."
I was just, in awe. They had what I needed to hear. I loved her, did anything I could to make her happy, but it's not what I was looking for.
