Is there possibly any look you were going for? I'm a pretty big fan of whatever you feel like - hence my avatar - but.. I don't know, it's really not my style. Still, in all fairness..
You have some nice items.. Perhaps one really nice one to accent it. Like whatever you really like best. For example, I'm saving up for a Gothic Lolita Pink Dress and a Coco Kitty. It'll just make my avvie complete looking. In my opinion, you need to look like you've put alot of thought into your avatar. Maybe that's just because I don't have a life...

Jesusfreakgurl - That's a little more my style..
I love the hair, the hat, the glasses, eyes, and skirt...
But in my opinion the shirt really kind of clashes with all of the mellow tones. If you like that, that's great. I'd suggest a few accents of sorts to strengthen that color's presence in the outfit.
Example: Pink holly Stockings go with Pink Carnation in my av, and the mink and Yeti go together.

Perhaps try a two color theme? Like, get that purple/orange sari and design around that.
