Vocabulario

I promised a long time ago that I would make a topic for useful Spanish vocabulary, so here it is! I'm not sure if there's anyone actually reading these things, but what the hey?

Each post in this thread will be a new category of Spanish vocabulary to get you through everyday life. Some will be for nouns, grammatical words, or adjectives, and if there are any common verbs that I haven't already covered in the lessons I'll put them here with their conjugations. Everything will be color-coded, and I'll try not to get ahead of the lessons.

El Cuerpo (The Body)

La Cabeza (The Head)

la cara (the face)

el ojo (the eye)

la nariz (the nose)

la boca (the mouth)

la oreja (the ear)

el labio (the ear) *More commonly in the plural*

la mejilla (the cheek)

la frente (the forehead)

la ceja (the eyebrow)

la lengua (the tongue) *Can also mean "language"*

el diente (the tooth)

el pelo (the hair) *As in, the whole head of hair, not a single one*

el bigote (the mustache) *When saying someone has a mustache, you do not use the "el." Instead you would say "Un hombre con bigote" to mean "A man with a mustache."*

el cerebro (the brain)
