Darkness saga Ch.3 'Darkness reborn' O/A

Kasumi didn't move or say anything she only kept on crying as her eyes were paler now then before."I'm alone again. I lost him this isn't fair to me. Why did this have to happen and why Weirdo he was everything to me. Now I feel so empty that I have nothing to live for anymore. Why should I go on fighting if it means that I never get to see him again. I don't want to be near the others now I want to be alone since Weirdo is not here anymore I don't have anything to fight for anymore he kept me going no matter what. Now he's gone leaving me in this world to be alone." Kasumi thought as more tears were rolling down her cheeks and wasn't looking at the others.

Damage sighs when he hears Weirdo's goodbye and sees him disappear into the master emerald. "You may be a moron for doing this Weirdo but I guess as your friend I'll have to accept it even if it's a stupid move." Domain just rolled his eyes at Damage. "OKAY EVERYONE AS MUCH AS IT PAINS US TO DO THIS IT IS TIME FOR ME AND DOMAIN TO SAY ARE GOOD BYES SO IF ANYONE LEAVES I WILL BEAT THE CRAP OUT OF THEM WHEN WE GET BACK!" Domain shakes his head at Damage. "Lets just get this over with. The longer we stay the harder it would be to drag you away Damage and the closer we get to destroying this universe." Damage glares back at Domain with a look that just burn fool burn.

Aile gets up walks over to Damage and sucker punches him in the face with full force. "You better come back Damage or I'm going to be very pissed off that you didn't come back. Also just don't be gone for to long since you leaving just upsets me and with Weirdo gone as well. Come back ok don't leave me." She sighed as started to calm down

"Really don't be gone for to long since I don't want to have to deal with her ******** moping every damn day. Also Domain you better not keep me waiting for to long since you know how I hate to wait a very long time. So don't take to long or I will beat the s**t out of you when you come back." Vashira crossed her arms as she was not kidding with the threat that she just made to him.

That's all I needed.

That was the only thought that Carrie had after seeing Weirdo depart, leaning against Silver for support. She was still drained, still tired after the energy she used in order to finish off the dark lord that once stood before them.

Silver puts a protective arm around her for support, ensuring that she doesn't fall or collapse to the ground. At this rate, all of them were tired, he could feel it.

As for Blaze, she smiles back at Kelico. For all that he said to Weirdo, that was the most inspiring thing she heard from him. After all, all of them should be thankful for the courageous leader that sacrificed his life to keep each and every one of them safe.

Damage Rubs his face from the hit Aile did. "Okay okay I got it." Damage then smiled at everyone and walked over to Silver. "Silver as my DNA brother from another universe I want to tell you to take care of Carrie and you child. Also here." Damage hands Silver a list. "These are moves that you should be able to do if you train. Thought you should get stronger." Damage then goes over to Carrie and grins at her. "Since I'm most likely not going to be around for the birth might as well give this to you." Damage then pulls out a plushie of himself and hands it to her. "It's so the kid knows who there favorite uncle is." Damage then looks at Blaze and scratches the back of his head. "Uhh...I can't think of anything to say or to give you so....." Damage pulls out a bag of cat n** and gives it to her. "I need to pull of one last joke you know." Damage then appears next to Kelico and puts his arm around him. "For you a word of advice. Cat n** is bad and keep ice bags handy for your alone time with Blaze." Damage then walks over to Kasumi and puts his hand on her shoulder. "Kasumi....I know what your going though...losing someone is never easy but you have friends who can help you out. I know you want to be alone but at least make sure you visit your friends at least for the holidays...or once a month." Damage then looks at Vashira and just nods at her. Damage then walks over to Aile and pulls out his black katana. "Aile I want you to hold onto this before I go. My Katana can allow your powers to flow to it. But it's more of a way of me saying that I'm going to need it back." Damage then kisses her head. Domain looks at everyone "Most of you are weak fools that can some how over come all odds.....All of you will die but I hope it is not soon." Damage just grins and says "To translate that is his way of saying that your all his friends and he will miss you." A portal then appears behind Domain. He gives a smile to Vashira wave bye and walks into it. Damage walks to the portal gives everyone a big grins and says his final words for now. "There is a old saying that if you say good bye on a bridge you will never see that person again. Luckily where not on a bridge but just to be safe. See you all later." Damage shots a chaos lance up into the sky like a fire work and then disappears into the portal the portal then disappears as well.

"That is so like Damage. But still we just need to stick together we can get through this I hope. Since I feel bad for Kasumi with how she is now. I bet that she doesn't want anything to do with us right now. Losing Weirdo ripped her apart and she isn't the same anymore. I hope she will be alright." Aile sighed and held the katina.

"Still he better not be gone for to long since I did mean with what I said. I do not like to kept waiting for a long time. But what to do now that is the question though. Since I'm done helping for now since I'm not needed to help anymore. Meaning I can go off and do my own thing for a while till he comes back." Vashira crossed her arms.

Kasumi still didn't move or say anything since she was off in her own thoughts. Plus that she has other business to tend to anyway. She stood up and wasn't planing on saying anything to the others anyway. But she still was crying since the tears wouldn't stop coming down her face and her eyes were still pale blue now.

Carrie smiles when Damage hands her a plush of himself. "Thanks Damage, I'm sure they'll love it." she says, chuckling slightly.
As Carrie goes to put the plush away, Silver looks at the list that Damage gives him. Nodding in thanks, he hands Carrie the list for safe keeping, knowing that he would end up losing it later when they were going to return home.

". . .You're so funny." Blaze mutters. "Why does everyone always have to pull that joke on me. . ." with a sigh, she pockets it. Maybe it might come in handy. Who knew at this point?

". . .Hey Silver? Have you seen Elvora?" Carrie asks, realizing that Elvora was nowhere to be found.

"I think she left with Seraphim. Those two. . .they seemed pretty happy with each other. I'm sure they'll be back to see us soon. After all, you and Elvora are connected aren't you?" Silver answers.

"Yeah, true. Maybe she needed a break from all of this." Carrie chuckles. I kind of figured that she would at some point though. She's. . .not so bad after all is she?"

Silver shakes his head in response, kissing the top of her head. "Not in the slightest. Even the dark have their bright sides." he says, smiling a bit.

As the dust settles across the shrine, the bright sunlight illuminates all that remains. Though full in party when the hero’s charged in, now only few remain. Many heroes are leaving to travel down their own path, and to fulfill their own destinies. But most vow to return as a whole one day, to become team paradox once more.

After the battle at the shrine the holy archer Kelico and the Fire princess Blaze escorted both Carrie and Silver back to their homes and decided to leave on their own for a while. They wished to be alone for once without the threat of the world hanging over their heads. Deciding to travel the world together the two leave the team to explore and help anyone they come across. Though keeping in touch with others they do visit each year on the date that the final battle took place and to respect Weirdo’s sacrifice.

Carrie the black mage traveled back to her home in the dark city with Silver and gave birth to two healthy twins. Shiro and Aura were the names both the parents agreed on, the new family settled down in Carrie’s home town and decided to retire from the hero business for the sake of their new family. Though Carrie still carried out her experiments with her alchemy and Silver never could resist catching a bad guy here and there, they are considered semi-retired.

Though it was months before a certain mercenary came to their doorstep, claiming he was paid by their deceased leader to become the children’s new body guard. The two were skeptical at first at the mercenary, but after a year of observing the two became comfortable enough with him to allow him to become the children’s guardian. Though in later years they will see that the job of being their guardian will be a challenging one, with them often playing with their mothers ingredients and doing their own ‘scientific experiments’.

Aile and Kasumi never did retire for a minute from being heroes even with the loss of their loved ones and the team being disbanded. The two of them becoming a brutal pair of hero’s never letting someone get away and often beating them to an inch of their lives. They have been branded the brutal heroines of west city. Though still on good terms with the others they always refuse to work with other hero’s preferring to work by themselves. Only Vashira watches over them, trying to make sure her other half does not kill herself in any of her adventures she and the dragoness take on. Thinking at times though of the man who left her behind, to do whatever he needed to do.


Elvora and Seraphim were gone for a month’s time, before Elvora appeared again to Carrie. Angered and a bit dishearted to her, but when asked what happened she will often reply that they should mind their own business and not to worry about her as she was done with him, albeit with some anger in her voice. With nothing else to do with her life she resigned herself to hanging around Carrie’s family home and watching her children with the mercenary.

Damage and domain have not been seen or heard since they have departed from the group. It is assumed that they are doing something ridiculous in some other universe.

Wave left the hero’s behind knowing he would no longer be welcome among the hero’s he once called friends. Taking Weirdo’s final advice he traveled to the Mobious Mountains to where a old hermit meet with him, and told him that he foretold his arrival. And that his path was not one cloaked in complete darkness as he would assume. Training under the old hermit he trained his body and mind to help cleanse his mind and body of the darkness that had once invaded it. With Zoid always in the shadows always watching and protecting his only friend, though known by the hermit, the two never show any quarrel with each other, even to the point that the hermit sees void as a demi being that represents a clean slate. Someone he believes makes an example of not caring about ones past and rather should work towards one’s future.

But as they live their lives the darkness they had vanquished has not settled, has not dissipated. It only waits for the right moment. For it to rise again in the near future, to rise and takes it revenge. Will the hero’s reunite for it’s return? Or will the darkness finally devour the world of light.
