Terry Jones wrote the Jim Henson movie Labyrinth, which is one of my favorite movies of all time.

I loved "A Fish Called Wanda"...Well, I missed the beginning of it, but I thought it was hilarious. Especially Michael Palin's character Ken. He kept killing all of that old lady's dogs. LMAO! rofl

Oh, and Ozumou, I'm going to have to disagree. I think Palin is a great actor. 3nodding

Well, admittedly I have heard a rumour that in Dr Who ppl are actualley told to act badly, in which case he was brilliant...

But otherwise, it was lousy!

Ah, well if that rumor is true then that would explain it. xd I've never seen Dr. Who, so I guess I can't really comment on it. sweatdrop

Palin as Ken in A Fish Called Wanda was pretty funny... there was also an Italian Pinnochio movie, and the English voices (for the English version) featured many famous people... John Cleese gave his vocal talents to the character of Jiminy Criket. That was good.

I've seen The Brothers Grimm, which is directed by Terry Gilliam. Pretty good work.

Has anyone ever seen an Britcom called Fawlty Towers? If you don't remember the name, maybe you remember that the sign is always rearranged. John Cleese did a wonderful job as Mr. Fawlty.

Just watch WHYY when they have their "Britcom Night". They do everything from Keeping Up Apperances to Waiting for God to The Vicar of Dibley. John Cleese's Fawlty Towers and Rowan Atkinson's The Thin Blue Line are two of my favorites.

All good stuff. I think the British do a better job with comedy than we (the US) ever will.

Never heard of Young Ones, but Black Adder I've seen. Check out a show called My Hero. It's about a superhero and his wife and kid. His alter ego's name is George, and he's a bit human stupid. Ultron, his home planet, is a very different society from our own.

Yeah, I definately agree. 3nodding

Oh, I like Blakadder as well. surprised

And I recently bought "Feirce Creatures". It's got the same cast as "A Fish Called Wanda", but I think it's even better. It's also got alot of references to Python and A Fish Called Wanda. xd Bugsy Malone is the freakin' best! X3
