Seriously, I hate BC so much but my mum wants me on it so I just take it.
First I was on the pill that gave you a period each month. It was horrible. I went from having no cramps at all and a super light, short period (before BC) to cramps so bad I have to take T3s for them and it looked like a slaughter house in my underwear.
Second, I was on the patch. I was allergic to the adhesive and it did all the same things the pill did to me.
Now I'm on the pill again, but I get my period only 4 times a year now. That'll be so nice~ I won't have to deal with the agonizing cramps as much anymore.
I can't wait until I'm able to get an IUD.

I want the pill your on but my doctor didn't recommend it because a lot of people chunk up? idk but I'd also freak out about being pregnant until I got my period, even if I took pregnancy tests. So I'm sticking to the every month deal. :c
