If you're up to the current manga, anyone else get that feeling? >.> I mean there was in the past Sakura's knowing look when Naruto went on about Sasuke looking way better than Sai. It just sounds like he loves giving yaoi fans some service.

He does! Gyah, there are so many scenes I could point out! And besides that, in one of the latest chapters, Sakura screaming at Kabuto about Naruto's feelings for Sasuke? How much more hinting can he possibly give us without the two of them having some heartfelt reunion (complete with floating hearts and much lip-locking)?
I have heard from someone that Kishimoto has actually said he likes SasuNaru. I would love if someone could find that quote.

I've heard that around as well. I know I've read one interview where he was talking about it being risky that he had Naruto and Sasuke kiss. That sort of stuff doesn't happen in a Shounen Jump magazine. >.> He's really pretty cool, I could so see him do that.

This is just me thinking out loud, but I think that he really likes SasuNaru, or just men in general. (Not saying that he's gay. He may be Bi!)
Look at Haku and Zabuza!
And then there is the scean where Kabuto walks in on Orochimaru showering.
And now that I'm on the subject...
Most of the boys in Naruto look rather femminin. o-o
Sakon, Kimmimaro, Orochimaru, Sasuke, Itachi, Deidara, Sasori, Haku, Neji.... ect.
(Whoops... I might get yelled at for this post. o-o )

I totally agree though. ^^; lol Haku and Zabuza are totally a cannon couple. I think there are some effimite boys too. Look at Sai. >.> Seriously, he totally reminds me of a gay friend of mine. Short shirt, and likes talkin about Naruto's p***s. o.o Hmmm... wonder if he paints. *goes to see Sai's living incarnation*
(By the by.... HEH. *cough* That amuses. Maybe he does like boys as well. That would be kinda hot. >.>)

Sakon is that kid in Sound 4 (Sound 5, if you count Kimi), with the twin that grows out of the back of his neck. At first, I thought Ukon was a dead fetus-type conjoined twin. T__T;;
I think Kishi dearest... You know what, I don't know. I think maybe he's over there in his studio shaking, because whatever pairing he decides to canonize, he's going to get hate mail. So he's keeping things hazy so no one gets mad...by making Sasuke's greatest technique: Two-Dollar-Hooker no Jutsu!

I mean... his face really is just downright girly. EYELASHES. And he comes complete with nail polish. My thing is... I know people make lots of funny comics about Itachi applying nail polish and such, but when you think about it, it's not even a joke. He's wearing the nail polish, so he honestly HAS to have applied it at some time. Which just gives me this mental image of Itachi sitting in his room somewhere in akatsuki headquarters... painting his nails. GIRLY. And... well, Kishimoto wouldn't have to be bi or gay to enjoy putting pretty boys and/or homosexual couples in his manga. Just open minded.

^__^;; I think the majority, if not all of animes have shounen-ai undertones. It's there because it's an accepted part of the culture to a degree that it's no longer entirely a conscious thing. I don't think I can name an anime that doesn't have it...

I was actually trying to think of one without shounen-ai undertones, and I can't do it. I was about to say Yu Yu Hakusho, because the Kurama/Hiei is probably all made up by the fangirls and not actually intentional, but I was forgetting Sensui and Itsuki. Itsuki was in love with Sensui, so yeah... that was a deliberate shounen-ai couple.
I can't believe I forgot them, they were so adorable.
Then again, there was some fairly obvious Yomi/Kurama... or was that all in my head?

That was pretty obvious. ^^; Sometimes fans confuse friendly with more than, but in general it IS a thin line to walk. I can think of at least a few manga which aren't shounen-ai, or have some sort of shounen-ai hidden tone, but that's just me. Like Model, or Demon Oro... Oroin? >.> GAH I forgot what it was called, but I LOVE that manga to death.
