He's not hiding, he's sick and injured. He got Geostigma because, as I figure, he went thru the SOLIDER process himself, and he also has major injuries from the Mako Canon explosion. So he's in exteme pain probly, but hiding it, and he can't walk, and can only stand for small amounts of time.

umm.........i'm not really good with names, but you mean the president guy when he appeard in AC?............he was holding something "jenova" or "mother"...........right?

If you played the game,it showed you that Diamond weapons Attacked right before. It showed that Rufus got killed but he didn't.He's just recovering. And he is hiding somthing,JENOVA's HEAD.
Any other questions,ask me cause I've seen it

ninja He's faking it. He saw the attack coming and was able to prepare. He wants sympathy to recocer all of the wasted Shinra money. ninja

The wheelchair and stuff was 1. to hide Jenova's Neck, I believe. As for Rufus did survive Emerald Weapon and has Geostigma and he's is injured and sick, but he's jsut making it more dramatic to like make people think he's really THAT injured and sick, when he's not to throw people off guard?

No Rufus did not go through the Soldier process, and even if he did, that wouldn't effect his chances of getting Geostigma at all. Cloud had it along his arm, and he has been through Soldier training, but Denzel had it too, and he hasn't been through the training.
Rufus was injured by the Diamond Weapon attack on Midgar. Would you not be after having nearly an entire floor fall on you? But my question is this, unless his legs are infected with the Geostigma, why is it taking him so long to recover? After all, this was based two years after FFVII.

rufus got geoensa (spelled horribly wrong) the same way all the kids did. he's in the wheel chair and wearing the bandages because of both the explosion at shinra and the geoensa. he can stand, and walk, just not fully cause he aint completely healed yet.
