*gets shot for ref/pun right thar* It was another bitterly cold day. Snow was on the ground, the cold wind blew carelessly. Kazooie had decided to get out of her house that day. It was usually crazy there. Banjo had no interest in stepping out of his cozy house to venture out with Kazooie. 'That lazy bear.' Kazooie thought to herself and shook her head. With a light sigh, she moved along in the snow. Poor girl was bored out of her mind and was hoping to cause some sort of trouble somehow, without Banjo.

 Tonde was sitting on a treebranch, offset a bit because of the snow and unadmittedly lost. He shifted on the branch, a chunk of snow slipping from the branch and landed on the ground "Darn snow. I try going South for the winter and end up here." he said, blinking as he heard the snow crunching from someone else's footsteps "Someone else stuck around here?" he asked himself and started looking around for the source.

With a heavy sigh, Kazooie stopped right below the branch Tonde was on. She then sprawled herself out like you would see a bear rug on the carpet. "Borrrreeeeeeedddddddddddddddddd." Kazooie said while letting out another big sigh. Without even thinking about it, she slammed her face into the snow and began to mumble to herself. "Shtupid lashy bear tat Bansho..." Once her face registered how cold the snow was, she shot her head up. "THERE HAS GOT TO BE SOMETHING TO DO!" She exclaimed as she looked around, but never thinking to look up.

Some of the snow on the branch slid off from the echo of Kazooie's voice. Tonde chuckled, shifting on the branch again as another chunk of snow fell off, landing by her head "Darn this snow..." he said and looked at Kazooie "I'm sure there are other things to do around here, but what good will they be if you freeze your butt off in the snow before you find it?" he asked and flicked some of the snow off his wings.

Her head instantly looked to the snow that had fallen. Kazooie glared at it as if she expected it to attack her or something. Upon hearing the chuckle, she looked up, tail feathers flicking. She stood up and shook the snow off of herself while listening to Tonde. "Well, i don't know. Though i do believe if i were to freeze my butt off, i would die." She nodded and looked back up to Tonde, trying to see what her looked like.

"Only when the rest of you would thaw out." he said, folding his wings back once they were rid of the snow and peered over the side, showing his head "Besides, I think you might need it a bit longer." he jumped off the branch, spreading his wings back out to float to the ground. He looked at her after he landed "They do come in handy sometimes after all."

Kazzoie flared her wings at him a bit, glaring. That glare soon turned into an eye-roll and she scoffed. "Oh look, another bird." She eyed him up and down with a brow raised. The want to plop down on her butt seemed like a bad idea cause of the cold snow. Instead she sighed. "...Who are you?" She was clearly avoiding the previous convo they were having.

Tonde folded his wings back, tilting his head to the side so his comb flopped over and covered one of his eyes "What kind of introduction is that?" he asked, then holding out one of his paws "I'm Tonde. It means 'To fly away'." he added the meaning because most people asked him if it had a meaning, though whether she wanted to know it or not was uncertain.

At first, she stared at the paw being held out to her. After a few second of staring it down with her light green eyes, she tenderly reached out a paw of her own and took his. Tonde had a nice ring to it. But the meaning... Made no sense to her. She simply shrugged it off.
"That's a cool name, i suppose. Mine's Kazooie." Now that names were introduced, what now? She had never really talked to anyone outside of Banjo, and even if she did... They always hated her anyway. Maybe she could chase Tonde off somehow, like she had done others...

Tonde's face lit up when she shook his paw "Kazooie... cool." he said, nodding his head to the side once so his comb would stand back up and away from his eyes. He smiled "So where do you live around here?" he asked. He had never been to Spiral Mountain, or even knew it was there. He only happened to land there due to the snow and cold weather.

"Oh, just in that small house over there... With a bear." She looked over to the house she had mentioned. It wasn't that far from them, seeing as she had just left and hadn't gone far from it. "He's so lazy, though. Decided not to come with me this time."
Rolling her eyes, she looked over to the Gruntilda's lair before looking back to Tonde awaiting him to say something.
