I have a class that I have to get a survey done for and This is what I'm aiming at for the moment. Which would you rather own? And why?

Most music I've bought lately has been digital, but that's largely because I receive I-Tunes gift cards as gifts. Myself, I usually prefer CDs. I have a more permanent copy of the music AND can listen to it in the car.

I would say digital, because you can get ANYTHING digitally. Plus if you want a hard copy you can always put whatever it is that you purchased digitally, onto a CD. So it's a win win.

digital doesn't require actually GOING anywhere or having them shipped. I think digital is a LOT better for the environment. Plus you can download the songs you like rather than buy the whole CD and only listen to half of it. I also like that with my iphone I can just download songs whenever I feel like it. ON the bus for example, when I grow tired of the songs I have.

digital, i can carry thousands of songs on my ipod and i love it. before i got one i was always lugging my entire cd collection with me whenever i went on a trip, now i just have a tiny ipod and all my songs, plus they are all sorted out so i never have to search hard for anything.
plus ias gabby said its better for the environment. i hate applying that logic to my art though since most of what i do is traditional xp
