Somehow, Ian knew that one of the two would be there. It would be sort of silly to help him out, offer to take him in.. then leave. And the two Cyans didn't seem like the 'silly' sort of person to him. Er... creature... being? Not human, surely. Then again, neither was he. Neither were HALF the others he'd seen, and those that were, were better left alone.

He nodded quietly at Zaxe, and lifted one of his hands to rub at his temples. They were starting to hurt a little more, but it wasn't anything he couldn't handle. His throat, however...
As he swallowed, he tasted blood. That was never good. Something must have scratched it up inside, or he had an infection, or something else. But it hurt to talk right now. He just hoped the Zaxe understood that, as he pointed to said throat, and gave a brief shake of his head to help him understand why he wasn't being so verbal right now.
