It seems that way,Because most of society is like that.
The girl is too clingy and guys usually lie to get what they want. By telling us how smart,cute and how much they are happy to be with us and we end up believing it until they break up with us and we look stupid,asking "I thought you said you loved me" and the same answer.."Well..I thought I did." But it depends on the girl and guy
