But they're kind of bizarre when you pay attention. Lois is really mean to Clark, going out of her way to scoop him, dump him, and make him look bad. WTF? When they're sposed to work together, she steals his ticket and hides it or takes off in the car while his hand is on the door or something. It's weird.

Well, in the '40s cartoons, he sort of flies, but it does just look like really high, really fast jumping. I've never seen the early comics, tho.

Funny how flying wasn't a part of the original formula, but now superman and flying is practically expected to go together.
