Nita never really knew a lot of love growing up. She never knew her father and her mother, Sinasina, left her and her siblings the moment they were old enough to take care of themselves. But she never held it against her mother. Even from an early age, she could see that her mother was not a happy leopard. Nita decided, knowing her mother, to fill the lives around her with as much love as possible, and she grew into an extremely peaceful, kind hybrid.

Not without her problems, of course. She is a hybrid, making it impossible for her to produce cubs. On top of that, she was born blind in one eye, making it difficult for her to manage depth correctly at times. Still, she never complained. Her hardships meant nothing if she could get those around her to smile.

Happiness, to her, really is the best medicine.

Nye is a hyper protective critter who will yap and growl at anyone he perceives as a threat. It's not specifically from a need to protect others, just a need to protect in general. The bug he found, his den, a friend, some drying piece of meat- he will pick and choose what it is he wanted to protect and suddenly feel ready to die for it. But he is not the most coordinated animal around and his protecting usually means tripping and falling all over himself as he works himself into a frenzy.

He's a nice, if not somewhat scattered guy, and can make friends once he determines they are not a threat to whatever it is he is protecting at the time.

Personal Information

Dole is a special hyena. As in, eating tree bark special. When she was young she was attacked by a lion and she got knocked off a cliff. By some miracle, she survived, but the hit to her head left her just a little bit off center. She has no trouble hunting or existing in the wild, but she does look at things in an entirely different way.

For one, she thinks she is the only hyena in the rogue lands. She can meet one, have a conversation, and learn the truth, then leave and it just falls out of her mind, leaving her back to the same conclusion. Somehow, she can't retain the information that she is not the only hyena out there. Still, it means getting very happy whenever she meets another hyena.

She is kind and happy and loves to play, always somewhat childlike despite being an older hyena. Don't go looking for wisdom from this one.

Nyeupe is a very entitled little lioness.

She grew up very loved and a little spoiled, and decided from an early age that she deserved all the best things in life. She deserved a lion hunting for her, the best dens, the best parts of the kill- everything. This princess attitude did not leave as she got older, though she did come to understand that if she wanted that kind of life, she was going to need to work for it.

She it not above manipulating a male to get the things she wants, and she's gotten quite good at it. She it not a motherly type and would not hang around with cubs to see them grow big and tall.

Cubs only want to be treated like royalty, too, and she wasn't willing to share the spotlight.

Personality: Uten is a wild, spazzy lioness who may or may not be insane. She can't seem to focus on anything for more than a couple of minutes, and her thoughts change quicker than her sentences can be finished. It's not something she seems too worried about that, though. Mostly, she's an oblivious, innocent doofus who wants nothing more than to make friends, engaging in childish games whether or not the other lion wants to play with her.

Personal Information

Brother of Sinasina, Shikamana was one of the cubs who didn't get abandoned by his mother when he was just a baby. That's not to say he had an easy life, though. A few weeks later, their mother never returned to the den, and it was impossible for them to know if she had been killed or if she had just left the rest of the cubs, too. Whatever the case, the young babies were forced to survive on their own. Shikamana was the only one to survive, and he barely managed it himself.

Growing up, he became very independent and felt no need for company of any kind. He never wanted to know the pain of losing those important to him again.

Females are good for flings, but nothing else and he acts very coldly to anyone around. No attachments.

He has no idea his sister is out there.

Having nothing better to do with his time, Mafahali loves to torment those around him. He is a brute and a bully, and he delights in making other lions feel small and worthless. He is not against attacking, either, and has been known to cause a lot of damage to other animals just because he was feeling a little moody that day. He doesn't need a reason to hurt someone, and is generally an angry animal twenty-four, seven.

He is extremely prejudice and doesn't like animals that are different from him. That includes cheetahs, leopard and any of the dog breeds, and especially hybrids. He finds lions that roam with small animal buddies pathetic as well. Females are weak creatures needed only for breeding.

There's really no one who impresses him.

Lahaula grew up happy and healthy and never had anything to complain about. That being the case, she didn't grow up with any kind of massive personality problems. She is happy, out going, and loves to make friends with those around her. Her only issue is that she can be a little big flighty at times. There's so much to the world and she would like to see as much of it as possible.

She enjoys roaming and meeting other animals, especially when her being a hybrid confuses them. She cannot have children, because of her half breed status, but she doesn't mind much. She is always on the run and doesn't have time for children anyway.

Lahaula loves to sing as she travels.

Personality: Intelligent and down to earth, she's more fond of practical games than those that require day-dreaming. Running around playing tag isn't her cup of tea. What she really likes to do is play fun question games or things that require thought. Hide and seek works pretty well too, as she can deduce mentally where each other participant might be hiding.

Losing her pride was difficult for her, but she doesn't let it hold her back. She has a new home with her traveling companion and she loves it very much.

She is also a seer, and tries to use her visions to help others.

Personal Information

As a puppy, Ekevu was a member of a large litter and had a lot of fun growing up. He loved his brothers and sisters very much, as well as his loving parents. Then, there was a rainstorm and his family died in a flash flood, leaving him and his father alone. It had been extremely difficult for the both of them, but his father never took it out on his remaining son. If anything, he poured all the love he had shared with seven kinds into one, and cared for Ekevu until he was old enough to head out on his own.

As an adult, Ekevu has become a very kind wild dog who shows compassion and love to those around him. He never raises a paw in aggression and is something of a pacifist. He only kills to eat, and never enjoys it.

He will do anything to help those around him, just don't ask him to tell you where something is. He is horrible with directions and will get you hopelessly lost.

Personal Information

Ubawa considers himself the best warrior in the firekin, and is happy to tell everyone around him such. Whether or not that's actually true, of course, isn't the point- he definitely believes he is a pretty epic warrior. He loves to fight and spar, and win or lose he always has something to say about the battle.

He appreciates decent warriors, though he has always found it difficult to believe that females can really fight as well as males. Of course, he has lost to females in the past, but that doesn't seem to factor in.

Beyond that, he can be a bit gruff and grumpy, but he's not a mean-spirited lion.

Radames has always considered himself a prince, and has always thought of himself as greater than any other lion. He looks down on other animals, especially those who aren't lions. Hybrids are absolutely disgusting to him. He expects everyone to treat him with respect, however, that doesn't mean he doesn't know how to take care of himself. As a proper prince, he feels he needs to have a great variety of skills, hunting included.

He enjoys exploring and seeing what new territory he can claim for himself. If he can gather minions to follow him, he is a happy camper. Overall, he is a lion who wants to lead a pride, just without the pride part.

She is also a very aloof, tending to act like she is unimpressed with those around her. But that's only because she's led a lonely life. Some company might brighten her up a bit.

Personal Information

Aminifu is built like a tank and can take damage very well. He also knows how to fight and generally kicks a**. He doesn't mind fighting at all, though he gets no real thrill from it. It is something he feels he needs to do, not something he either hates or loves.

While very strong, he is a dim-witted animal and doesn't really know when not to trust someone. That being the case, it is very easy for lions to get him to be their meat shield in sticky situations. More than once he's been taken advantage of, and he's never really understood. To him, he's just helping someone out and that makes him happy enough. Gullible is his middle name.
