Okay, so I've been writing a bunch of scripts for film ideas. I work on horrors mostly because that's my favourite genre. Thing is I write down what I think to be a pretty good, maybe even original idea one second and then a few seconds later I look at it and think "my GOD that's terrible!" or worse, I show it to a friend and they say similar phrases. I wouldn't feel so bad if it was just a few of my ideas, but at the moment it seems to be ALL of them! I know a lot of people think that horror is dead too, but I don't think so because there's always going to be new ideas at some point. I just so badly want to be one of those lucky enough to get a good idea and stick with it! I know, some have also said that your only real failure is when you stop trying. I agree, but I also agree that if I'm going to be good some day then I have to start now and nobody will take me seriously unless I manage to create at least one idea that's not total poop! sweatdrop
Any advice?
