So I just ordered World of Warcraft: Battle Chest for $10! Also got Wrath of the Lich King & Cataclysm.
Not sure when they will be shipping my order but come January I'll be playing a Pay-to-Play MMO for the first time.
World of Warcraft celebrated it's 6th Anniversary on 23th of November, 2010, and I've never picked it up before... Why? Three words. Monthly Subscription Fee.
So why am I picking it up now? One Word. Worgens.
Anyone else here plays WoW and/or plans to start playing Wow?

The only game I wanted to play was the DCU online but eh. I don't like MMO THAT much and as much as I would die of joy and an OD of DCUA voice actors filling my ears. I can't shell out that kind of cash each month. This is the same reason why I just can't buy a flipping 300 dollar PS3 just to buy two games that would probably PLAY better on my Wii. I mean damn Batman would be better on the wii. Sure wouldn't look as good but psh. Looks aren't everything. Besides I do have a feeling that maybe just maybe if Batman AA 2 might come out for the little White/Black or Red wonder. I mind hell Lego Batman was easier on the Wii than it was on my cousin crappy x-box. Way too many buttons to press.
Not being a hater just a sensible gamer that right now don't think buying a 300 dollar system that she probably won't get much use out of is a good investment.

I have never and will never play WoW because it sucks away your life (kind of like Gaia...) and I don't have that sort of time. And it's expensive.

I'm an unemployed college student. I don't have the time or the money. That and I did play a bit on a friend's account and didn't find it all that fun. Certainly not worth paying every month to play.

Certainly not worth paying every month to play. ^ Also this. I played on a free trail and like 10 year olds were calling me names and stuff just like on xbox live and this one elf thing kept humping me. Very unfriendly place.
