Or at least a VERY educated and mathematically assumed guess.
Remember, in the back of volume 2 of the Manga, the author made this little pun...
Al asked Ed what his total height is because the author was getting a lot of letters asking 'How tall is Edward anyways?'
Ed replied "I think my total height is 165cm...' (Not that openly...Lots of pausing before hand)
And so if you take the following diagram, it shows A measurement of 'Body Height' and 'Total height'
His Body height is that plus his antenna and platform shoes...
Then I randomly found this site (It's called Serpents Cross but I don't know the URL, wanan see it search Serpents Cross on Google) and they go through a long math equation and end up with roughly the result:
143cm.
sweatdrop I know...I'm a total nerd...
But that would probably be the cloest thing.
Or we could find a life-size manequin and measure it! lol 3nodding

So what's 143 cm in feet? ... Yaya, I know, I'm Canadian, and the metric system and all ... but I measure height in feet ... and I'm not good at conversion.

it's 55.8 inches, which is 4 feet and 7.8 inches. 3nodding I found a cm-to-inches converter. 3nodding

OH MY!!!
I just went and looked at my little chart for height that's in my closet (had it since I was yay high) and looked at it and...and...
ED'S THE SAME HEIGHT I WAS WHEN I WAS TEN YEARS OLD!!! ED IS ONLY AS TALL AS A TEN YEAR OLD!
But, if you add the shoes and antenna, he's about...as tall as I am now...
Aw, man, I really AM short!!!
oh wait, scratch that. we're measuring the antenna, not Ed's head. yay I'm not short!
But that antenna must be like...10cm long!!
