Basically, this is a thread to discuss how far Ren and Kyoko have come as far as love interests/pairing/whatever is concerned and how much further they still have to go.
So the big question is: In your opinion, who/what is the biggest obstacle preventing Ren and Kyoko from coming together?
For Kyoko's part, there's still the gap left in her heart when Sho left her, not to mention the thing with her mother. And of course, her general aversion to anything love related.
On Ren's part, there's all the darkness of his past, as well as his firm belief that he should not actualize his love for Kyoko. (though he has a least admitted that he likes her.)
And of course there are all the love rivals that just generally mess things up occasionally.
Please discuss! (Let's get this guild active some more!!)

I really have to agree with the points you've given. The biggest obstacle would really have to be both Ren and Kyoko. They both have rather hard pasts that they seem to be dealing with in prensent time which causes their feelings for one another to be pushed aside not really wanting to acknowlage it. I think once they get past their past (no pune intended), I'm sure they'll most likely end up together. The only thing stopping them is themselves >.<

Hopefully with this arc, Ren's past issues will be resolved, but I'm still wondering about Kyoko. I think in her case it's less about coming to terms with things and more about accepting/moving on. She seems like she's almost at that point, but I wonder if the manga-ka will put up more obstacles for her.
What does everyone else think?

I think Kyoko is far from moving on! As long as she still hates Sho and tries to kill him whenever they meet, she wouldn't move on at all! ..... but I hope that the mangaka will give them both another drama or movie or whatever so that they can try to get along again! So that she can learn to trust a man and, most especially, love one!
