what are your opinions on weather? good, bad, over used, under used? any good strategies you use? etc
just trying to get a good pokemon related conversation going ^_^
I personally LOVE weather teams, rain and hail
heart so awesome. just the other day, I was battling some one in B/W with my hail team, and they used a hail team too, I was like Feel mah icy wrath, then they were all like "oh? feel my icy wrath" so yeah, hail battles take FOREVER, no joke, 51 turns, but those turns were filled with awesomeness
3nodding on the other hand, I completely destroy things with my rain team, first turn-rain dance, then I proceed to sweep things with Limbo the Ludicolo, death by a Mexican looking pineapple holding maracas ;D
sandstorm teams are scary... since doryuzuu came in, 405 max attack with sand throw, gets a MASSIVE speed boost, enough said... tyranitar was always scary too, DD then it's game. the hippo is amazing too, stealth rock then proceed to phaze, just roar them... constant stealth rock and sandstorm damage, if you want a bulkier one, give it stockpile stock 3 times, if the going gets rough all you need to do is slack off, then BAM 1/2 health back. also, all rock, steel and ground types get a 50% sp.defense boost in sandstorm.
sunny day teams....lol, not the best, but can work well i suppose, exeggutor is pretty good in the sun, special sweepers ftw. and Drought ninetails

3nodding sunny teams sorta lacks physical sweepers, but I can see arcanine fitting in nicely especially since extreme speed is a 2nd speed priority move now, it's faster than quick attack, aqua jet, ice shard etc so it can get in a strong quick hit. and since water is weakened in the sun, MAYBE it'll live 1 attack from a lesser water sweeper.
