This place seems to be becoming more and more like a little community, not just for SC. Some of you know each others style/builds/technique like the back of your own hand. But when not related to SC, what do you know about each other?(biggest joke 2k10 if all y'all are bffs already)
If you didn't guess by now, I'm Kurt. I travel a bunch, lived all over the place too. Currently I'm living in England, going to uni here, so yeah, time difference when it comes to all of you I'm guessing. I've been on gaia for quite a while. Well not that long, but yeah. This account is from 2006, and I think I have one from 2005 that i played around with and forgot the pass to. Don't even remember how I stumbled upon the website considering I'm not really an anime/manga person. I do stuff. I enjoy stuff...like sleeping and eating mmm. I'm quite boring when tired.

i'm one of those seclusive types that enjoys my own private life to myself. that's just how I am personality-wise. as such, I tend to keep my matters to myself without explaining much to anyone. the way I see it, I'm here for Starcraft 2: for discussion and a chance to have fun with other people who share interests. which may come off as sort of cold and/or disconnected, but again, that's just how I am.
i open up if you take the time, though. which probably might take a large amount of time to begin with.

Well, I for one have no problem revealing all kinds of info about myself on the interwebz. Mainly because... I'm just not worried that some creeper will try to find me. It would actually be quite flattering and not at all worth their time.
So I currently live on a Marine Corps base in Okinawa, Japan. So that means I'm like Kurt in the fact that my time difference is pretty insane. I think I'm about 16 hours ahead of the West Coast of NA. I go on a good amount of operations to foreign countries working as a Data Network Specialist (basically I do computer networking and basic IT maintenance). I guess I like to do what all Marines do... which is basically running around being drunk and stupid. But I do it in a classier way. Trust me.
Since we're staying away from Starcraft in this topic so far, I guess I can also share that I'm originally from Seattle, WA, which is literally the greatest city in America. Minus the big tourist areas like Las Vegas. I never technically lived in the city itself; I was born in Everett, WA and raised in a small city called Arlington. I think there's an Arlington in every state though, so I never tell people that's where I grew up. Heh. Like the time I told someone what city and state I was from, and they asked, "Oh, Arlington, Texas?" And thus, in my mind, the general population became too stupid to handle my actual city of residence.
I've been hanging with this crowd since the old days before the guild, when the thread was at around 90 pages I think. Hell, at one point almost no one wanted a guild, and look where we are now! So I'm pretty proud to be a part of this community. I like teaching people as much as I can. I'm not going to hide replays or build orders I have from you guys or anything, because while we have tournaments, I classify them as friendly, not competitive. We're not a pro-gaming team, we're here to have fun.
And... that's it for now I guess. I love talking and just shooting the breeze (or in this case the ink) with you guys, so anything you wanna know, just start up a conversation and we'll go wherever it takes us.

I'm Darek; from Sydney, Australia. I'm actually Chinese though, but can't speak Mandarin (or at the very least 'dislike' the language).
I'm more of a casual gamer, because my personality means I like to stay on the surface of everything. As such you will probably all be owning me; especially since I spend most of my time either doing some low-level co-op play for the fun of it or playing some custom game like Colonial Line Wars or Tree Tag.
Oh, I also enjoy certain Anime/Manga series and drawing, although I have found little time for both as of late.
On Gaia I spend most of my time lurking Life Issues.

Eh, I'm generally shy and super sensitive, though I'm pretty sociable if one makes the effort. Live in Oklahoma, just started high school (I feel like such a baby compared to you all since you all seem to be in your twenties. xd ). I'm a little bit of a music enthusiast (always looking for something new to listen to), I like video games (derp), anime/manga, and I'm particularly fond of violent, gorey, aggressive things.
As for Gaia, I've been an active member ever since I signed up in the summer of 09 (about 2 days before MJ died). I spend most of my time here floating around the LD/LI, the VGD, and the music forum.
Oh, I also play string bass. Hopefully I can get some good scholarships with it.

Well, with the large influx of newer members, I think it would be prudent to bump this baby up to the top.
