Ok, so I was just wondering what you guys think of the new pokemon generation to be released in march/april (sry forgot which month lol). I ask this because a lot of people don't like it and are saying they should've stopped making the series a while ago and all that.

I personally like the new generation. I have to admit I don't like a few of the pokemon, but come on people, you can't like em all. I'm really excited for this new generation, and I have Black pre-ordered. ((i would have pre-ordered both, but my brother pre-ordered White))

Ah, this brings back good memories where I would get one version and my cousin would get the other and we'd try to complete the pokedex as fast as possible before building our ultimate pokemon teams to fight each other over and over and over and over and...yeah you get the point.
Anyhow, I will most likely choose the White version. I've always been fond of the color white. But from the way I see it, the Black versions legendary looks more badass then the White versions legendary. sweatdrop

Yeah, theres always that one version that everybody gets caus the legendary is just plain badass.
like with diamond and pearl, everbody i knew made their main game on diamond.
soul silver and heart gold - soul silver
fire red and leaf green - fire red

I agree that the pokemon series have been pretty lame latley especially the newer ones. I hate the fact that they have made like 30 new legendaries for like the past 2 series. I just want to see how these new pokemon games are going to be and hopefully they will be good.
PS: Since ive heard that Black and White is the last generation for pokemon i think i would be pretty amazing if the last game they create would have all the different regions and pokemon in it. Plus 3 different versions of it like red and blue then yellow

I have preordered Black and White and can't wait for them. I'm sure that they will have a "special version just like they have for every other new gen pokemon game(Yellow, Crystal,Emerald,Platinum...)

I completely agree with you there, rizo. I've thought about that ever since I got the Silver Version. The pokemon motto was always "Gotta Catch Em All !!" and with the combination of all the regions and all the pokemon, it'll truly bring that motto to it's maximum potential. It'll truly be the complete world of pokemon in one massive game.

I am definitely getting white, because I want the black legendary. I love Pokemon, always have and always will. I doubt B/W will be the last gen, as long as Nintendo can make money off it and the fans are loyal to the series, there will be more and more generations to play.

Ah, Pokemon.
You, Nassiral, are not alone; I never really got into it either. I do, however, like to watch, and even have some of the finer points of a particular battle pointed out to me. I am an RPG fan after all. I can't fight it. =P

Pokemon is s**t nowadays. Ever since Sinnoh.
The Pokemon were pathetic in that region. I mean WTF? A ******** HONEYCOMB AS A POKEMON?
Nintendo has lost all imagination. Besides, its about time Pokemon died.
Its been around for too long.
