Yes, Pokemon. Anyone anticipating this games North American release as I am? Heard about Nintendo Hushing up the Pokemon websites telling them not to post any pictures or screen shots of the new Pokemon games? Apparently Serebii has all the images up now but I don't know if that is because a lawyer said they were allowed or because the Nintendo letter was a hoax. -shrug-
Still the new Pokemon look pretty awesome. I can't wait to get the game and make a party of entirely new Pokemon I have never used before. Normally I always wind up with one or two Pokemon form the original 151 on my main game play team but now I'll be forced to use all new pokes should be fun! biggrin

Yeah I shorten Pokemon to "poke" or "pokes" quite frequently, and I really don't know why. xD

I'm a**l retentive, so I always make sure I hold down Alt and press 130 on the number pad to get é. Poké heart
I glanced at a few of the new Pokémon, and some of them look interesting (a pure flying type? For reals?). But I dunno. I really think that, at this point, there's nothing else they can do that they haven't already done. In the last game they released the GOD OF ALL POKÉMON. Seriously, what more do you NEED after that?
But I will probably get it, regardless. I should put my DQIX on hold and go back to HG and make some progress before it's too late.

In my HG I am just working on completing my Pokédex. I have like 360 Pokémon obtained now I think. On diamond thanks to some good friends and the Pokémon guild here on Gaia I have completed my dex. I'm thinking of transferring all my good Pokémon off of my Platinum game and letting my mom play that one though. Also even though I caught Giratina on the distortion world in platinum he still didn't have that damned orb. I was cranky about that. I just need to get a Glaceon and then do all the events to get event pokemon I have items for but not done the events for yet. xD

So has there been any word on how Black and White are going to work as far as compatibility with the other DS games?

As far as I know you can battle and trade between older games but it is similar to the way it worked between red/blue and gold/silver on the game boys. Also as far as I know you can't trade older gen pokemon into the game until you complete the dex for the Isshu region.

I also picked up my sister's birthday present AND something for myself...this "Atelier Rorona: The Alchemist of Arland" game that I keep seeing things about. It looks pretty and it's a JRPG. Sounds like a game I might like. Plus alchemy is awesome. I still need to pop it into my PS3, but I shouldn't tonight. I need sleep and stuff. Only reason I'm staying up is for food because I skipped dinner.

Is...unique. It's like half RPG, half what Harvest Moon MIGHT be if you ran an alchemy shop instead of a farm. Only less simulation and more RPG. It's hard to explain. Is cute though.
