The thoughts and views expressed by various Gaians about Ian and his status?
I have come across the following speculations so far though I didn't really delve into the forum that much:
The Basic "Free Ian he is Innocent!"
Why? Because he may or may not have had a grudge against both Gino Gambino and Johnny K. but he doesn't have the potential to commit arson to release his frustrations, plus, maybe those pills held the clue to Gino's recent "Growth spurt and super powers" so he was framed in an attempt to keep him quiet.
New Speculation added as to why he is innocent:
Why would Ian want to burn down the Mansion, WITH SASHA IN IT!? Why would he actually want to kill the one person he loves or give opportunity for the scenario that was done by Gino? He wouldn't, plain and simple! Ian is being set up!
or "Ian Is Guilty Hang him!!!"
Ian had more than enough incentive to burn down the Gambino mansion. First losing his property on the Isle of Gambino to Johnny K. Gambino, then losing the only love of his life "Sasha" to his son Gino Gambino; that is more than enough reason for Ian to find some way to ruin the Gambino name, no matter what it took!
Then I saw rumors of Labtech X's involvement particularly that he looked more like J.K. Gambino so it was J.K himself who set up the arson and framed Ian. Moreover, he acted as an aid to "fix up" Gino and and feined his death by hiring a fake assasin.
Then there is also speculation that Rufus the cat did it; it is said that he was tired of being behind Ian in the lime light of the store and stories so while Sasha and Gino ate he snuck in and knocked over one of the candles causing the calamitous fire. Not only that but that he also is intelligent enough to do such and act, frame Ian, and take his spot as the Shopkeeper all in one interesting turn of events. Furthermore still, some have said that Rufus pre-ordered his so called "tailor made" suit so he had to have had concucted such a plan for quite a while but the opportunity never presented itself until the Sasha-Ian event.

Grunnies and the partially noted Elf tech who was present have also become apart of the rumors.
One absurd but thought prevoking notion was that it was Liam who actually did it; with a suit, hat and his blond hair he could pass for Ian and could easily frame the spazzy Ian without leaving a trace...Proof however has yet to be seen and I am quite sure will never be seen either...

Personally I think he is innocent but meh...who cares what I think?
