Star woke up in their new home, she missed her old home, but she had to move. It was a large cave with a small opening. It was big enough for over 100 of their kind. She had brought in dry grasses and feathers from her prey for their beds. Which was just one big one. Her stomach rumbled, they were too busy moving in they didn't eat. Today she planned on a different kind of hunt to practice.

Amber woke up slowly, her stomach rumbled. They had saved some for for Onyx, because he couldn't hunt with them. She realized star was looking strait at her. "What is it Star?. I bet you are as hungry as I am." She rolled over onto her back, wiggling her paws. "What kind of hunt are we going to try today, unless you aren't feeling well, are you?"

"I guess I'm a little home sick, that was my home ever since I was a pup" She poked Amber's stomach. "How did you know we were going to practice hunting again today?" She stood up, then plopped back down. "Why do I wake up so early in the morning." Yawns.

"You will get used to our new home, its nice and warm, away from the rain, it hit our backs when we were in the tree. We could have gotten sick. Even if it was mostly your back. I don't know what we would do if you were to get sick. I dunno if I would be a good hunter on my own." She stretched yawning simultaneously. "What kind of hunt are we going to hunt today?"

"Well, we are going to hunt by ourselves, but at the same time. I was thinking about hunting and catching boars, since they are so numerous lately." She closed her eyes scratching her eyes" "It's tricky hunting two at once, because they run like hell and zig zag amongst them selves. We are going to have to learn to be able to get good at that. Like if my boar runs by yours, I will jump over you, you just keep running, do not stop. Understand?"

"Sounds really hard" She looks at Onyx. "He sure sleeps alot, you say you were alone as a pup, how did you survive on your own, all I remember as a pup was sleeping and eating. Not that I minded" She turned to look at Star who's eyes were still closed. "What are you thinking about Star?"

"I ate bugs, caught rabbits if I was lucky, or mice, I don't even want to explain how I learned that skunks aren't the best to hunt, I killed it, but I stunk for at least a week." She laughed then laid down. "It's getting light out we should leave soon, it just rained a little so it will be easier. What I'm thinking about is my mother... She was amazing, She was the lead hunter, and killed many feeding the whole pack for a day, she had help, but she always made the end move. She Died from being attacked by wolves, We all got away, she didn't, it was awful to hear, it was like 20 against 1, I was so angry that the pack, not even the so called knights tries to help her. So I abandoned them. I guess you could say I'm missing my mother, she trained me a little, enough to get on by myself, but I would do anything to get her back." She sighed.

"Wow, I wish my mother was so great, she was anb outsider, and was cruel to us pups" She sat up. "Let's get going, its going to take awhile to find these boars." She stretched again then headed for the door.

Star stretched as well then started for the door, ducking her way out of the hole that is the entrance. "It's going top rain again soon, good, the boars will notice us even less" She sniffed the air. "None have been around near our home, lets go deeper"

Amber felt good, she was really getting close, should I tell her my story right now? No, this isn't the time. They continued down the hill. (they made sure to have a home above the regular area, just in case a flood, which has never happened in Stars life, but better to be safe then sorry) She was so glad that star had accepted her into the group.

Star sniffs the air. "There are at least 12 half a mile over there, can you smell it Amber?" She was not the only one training to hunt.

Amber sniffs the air, She caught the scent, a musky mud smell. "Yes, I smell it, them. oh, there are piglets." Her stomach growled.

"Yes, but we are after two grown boars, we have to be careful, their tusks are sharp and can harm us very easily." The rain started pouring down hard. "at least we will have fresh water to drink today." She joked then walked towards where she smelled the boars, they were on the move so she started a slow run, making as little noise as possible.

amber looked annoyed, almost dripping wet already. Amber hated the rain so much, but she had to toughed up. She tested the air, it was harder to smell the boars, but she could tell they were getting closer.

The two slowly crept closer and closer, keeping down wind, until they were a good 5 feet away. they both waited.
