lets face it, the new episodes of the simpsons are becoming less original and the endings are weird.

i hated the episode where sideshow bob is in italy with his wofe and baby. the baby was annoying and they have ruined bob's character.

do you agree

I don't think they've ruined Bob's character, because if you remember correctly, towards the end he turns back into a murderous psycopath. All that teh writers have done is put the Simpsons in a different location, but brought in Bob to add a sense of familiarity to the proceedings. And anyway, Kelsey Grammar's such a great actor I don't think you can get enough of Bob.

It's the same thing that's happening with every other great cartoon: they want popularity, so they throw away all moral values and replace them with cruel, pointless humor.

Examples:

--The Simpsons
--The Fairly Odd Parents
--Spongebob Sqarepants
--The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron, Boy Genius (only somewhat)

I love it. Of course Bob would marry someone as evil and crazy as him, ans sire an evil offspring. I want them all to come back and try to murder Lisa for getting them kicked out of town.

Kind of, but they can't be 100% original after 17 seasons. They're still funny though, even if the plot isn't as good as the old ones.

EX: The new episode coming out (January 29th) features Bart going to Brat Camp. Haven't they used that one, like, five times already?

I think the new episodes of the simpsons are awesome. They are coming to a point where you don't know WHAT is gonna happen. I like that unpredictablility.

I thought the point of the simpsons is to be weird the. The older episodes have weird endings too.

I still enjoy "The Simpsons".

I don't care what people want to say about quality, I love the episodes.

All of them, in fact, in one way or another.

[[ The Simpsons to me will never be what they once were and I'm pointing to Seasons 2-7 espically season 2. Season 2 was and is emotionally draining to watch and is what I call the SImpsons.

During the Scully Era many things changed, mainly Homer, which will I still watch (and have some guilty pleasures of) they twisted the Simpsons in a totally new direction.

Now in the Jean era it resembles the Simpsons more but doesn't have that emotional/comedic drive that made classic Simpsons so great.
