Over the course of the summer, I had to lose a lot of weight because I had gained so much at university. It's amazing what portion control can do. Going from an all you can eat buffet to just your regular portioned meals does a lot for you D8 But I go to the gym every other day here. It's really nice. I'm still trying to lose another 5-10 pounds. I want to be 125-130, which is still a healthy weight for someone like me. :3
Discuss: Your weight loss goals. diet changes. how much you love sweets. ;w;

This is probably not healthy, but, I lost that in a month or so. XD It's amazing how much weight you lose when you're sick! And you stop eating meat.... omg....
When I get a little better I'm going to go to the gym more.
So far I've given up: Soda's, beef (except when I'm bleeding heavy), Ham, Sodium (this makes me hella sick, I have to watch out what I'm eating otherwise I'll end up blowing my head off fo sho), Candy (except when I super crave it).
I want to get off all dairy cuz it's really hurting my body, but its hard when it's in everything. I'm just glad that I live at home and not a dorm. I wouldn't be able to eat if I lived at school with the food they have. I hate my digestive system. :'(

Depending on your blood type, certain foods are good or bad for you. SO because I'm blood type O, i eat beef, because it's good for me :3 May I suggest soy milk as a replacement? My family drinks a lot of it. (not me though, i love milk and cheese too much) @kira: My grandma gave me a bunch of homemade cookies for university D8

@ grimm: I have soy supplements in shakes everyday, and I swear it's the only thing that's keeping me out of the hospital and on my feet. I don't like eating Ham because its like eating human. We use pigs for skin graphs and organ transplants, plus they're smarter than dogs. :I And very salty.
The main issue I have though is being able to afford to eat too. My family is tight financially and all the food I'm not allergic too is way too expensive for their food budget. We try to buy in bulk but, I don't eat much anyways... so ya. XD Oh well.

I used to not struggle so much with my weight, but once I had to start taking a lot of meds to be able to function on a daily basis... trouble started. I only need to lose about 30 pounds (to get down to a proper weight for my body), but I've been relapsing in my ED treatment a lot lately so I find myself wanting to lose upwards of 60 pounds and doing my best to succeed at that.
Other than the meds, I have lovely disorders that limit the foods I can have + being a vegetarian (for health and personal reasons, none of them related to animal rights)...
Sorry for rambling. Weight, food, body image, etc., are subjects really close to my heart.
edit; since you guys are talking about The Oatmeal, one of my favourite websites ever... One of my goals is to meet the guy one day, since he lives near where I do. C:

@ Grimm: And that has to be one of the best comics I have ever seen in my life... *prints up and puts on wall*
@ Jude: *high fives you for being vegetarian* I try my hardest not to eat meat, but when your body doesn't work properly, sometimes you gotta eat what you can digest. smile But I know how hard it is to be vegetarian. :') But it makes your body feel so much better.

I'm going to get skinned and roasted alive for this, but I went down a full pant size by accident. I also went down a whole cup size if that makes anyone feel better. I'm NOT anorexic, I just lose my appetite when I'm under stress, and last summer some things occurred that were very stressful. (If anyone's still worried, I do still try to eat something each day.)

I'm technically underweight now but my doctor doesn't seem to be worried about it. I am trying to eat but I'm getting closer to 100lbs now. Grimm, you should give me the weight you lost! >=o

I have a friend like that. I can always tell when she's super happy or really depressed just by her weight. When she's happy she gains alot of weight. Like 20 lbs. And when she's depressed or stressed she will lose the same weight. It's weird how much she juggles it. I'm sure it's not on purpose though.
My thyroid issues have made me gain about 15lbs in the past 5 or so years. I'm taking meds for it and while the numbers look good as far as my thyroid goes, I'm still stuck at this weight. I know I should exercise and lay off the late night snacks...
