Aika took a step into the more open space, getting out of her meditative stance. Sitting still with her chakra formation just didn't feel right. She needed to move and practice with her gifts. She took another step and her bells rung lightly with a light motion of her hips. (1) Her chakra was being called up from the motions as she swept her foot around her in a circle. A trail of chakra would be visible for a moment as it sunk into the ground, remaining there momentarily. Her chakra started venting along her tenketsu at various spots where she picked.(2) Her dance started to intensify as it began to increase in pace. Her chakra crackled violently along her skin and vented more in various spots, sinking into the ground and dispersing into the air. She started to incorporate hip gyrations that made her bells ring rhythmically. Her eyes shut and she had a little smile on her face as she continued.(3) She was starting to kick up a small amount of dust which hung in the air and made the glow of her chakra surround her as it got caught in the earthen particles. She pushed her chakra as far as she had last time and strained to force her coils to make and accommodate more chakra. (4) She would start to wind down, letting her chakra slowly settle. She slowed her dance as she spun, coming to a stop and letting her arms fall. At the end of her practice here, she would have a thin layer of chakra surrounding her as her coils expanded and settled into her body.(5) After this she grabbed a water bottle from a hydration station nearby and took a sip. "Ok...now what sensei." She directed to San.

With missions under their belts, the newly graduated Shinobi and Ninken made their way down to the academy. His face was still buried in the book he held as the continued to walk, Akita following closely behind. He was aware of the others before him, whom he intended to approach, but he was suddenly drawn from his book by graceful movements occurring off to his left. His eyes slowly moved in that direction, until they met with a Kunoichi who wasn't too far from him, and appeared to be... dancing? It wasn't normal for ninja to do such a thing, or at least he hadn't heard of it. But, there were many unique abilities that one could possess, so he wouldn't say anything about it. He found himself unable to return to his book, seemingly fascinated by the elegance and grace of her movements. Once Akita became aware of his distraction, a swipe of the tail against his leg was enough to regain his attention. Raikou blinked a few times, before looking at Akita, who responded with a roll of her eyes.
Three other Genin appeared to be training as well, being instructed by a Jounin. One of the Genin he previously met with in the office, named Kumiko; the two others he hadn't met before, but something about the male Genin's facial features reminded him of Ayame. In fact, he looked as if he could be a sibling. He wasn't for sure, but it was odd to him, but for now, he didn't bother trying to figure it out. Raikou and Akita would approach the man, standing off to the side behind a female with a tiger companion. Akita didn't have any issues with larger cats, and preferred to stay on their good side for many obvious reasons.
Kaori turned slightly when Nova nudged against her and turned her massive head to look behind them. She tilted her head as a young man with silver hair and a white canine came in, wearing the Suna headbands, a Genin and a Ninkin then, she thought. She nodded politely, while Nova rumbled a calm greeting to the canine, "Hello." Kaori greeted politely.

Wow...he was swamped. So many students so little time. What was a teacher to do! He would sort the little ones out as best he could, and give them the attention to allow them to grow.
"I think learning a way to move and store bodies would greatly help you medical career Kumiko. There should be a technique called experimental bodies you can learn."
Thats when the new girl appeared, soft and polite. The sannin kept his focus, but altered his attention so they could at least speak face to face.
"Indeed. You must be Kaori. The kazekage had informed me of your request and......" With a small plume of smoke in his hand...."SHAZAM! I new ninja band for you! You may want to go to the library and grab a few scrolls...the ones i brought are getting a little crowded."
San's attention would be shifted yet again as Theodin was really rocking his ninjutsu skills. Damn this kid had an affinity for all things chakra. James must have taken some of his own DNA to infuse with the kid...or simply insured that the kid would come out with a large chakra pool.
"Good job Theodin, those are some pretty nifty skills. Lightning is an element that your mother and i share...and i use religiously. What other things would you like to learn about, or get under your belt. You seem to really know what you are doing, so even if i am not outright teaching you, i can still serve as our guide in areas. Take the reigns of your training, and ask when neccessary."
The Dancer Aika seemed to have completed her meditative training, and San knew the next step for her to take.
"Go ahead and try to perform a few jutsu. Just like our body needs to learn to apply certain practiced movements, our chakra network wors rather similarly. See how you can improve with this concept."
He could try to play it smooth but Sanshi "saw" all. Raikou, Ayame's sibling, could not hide from the professor.
"Raikou! Your late! Get your but on those lightning jutsu now before i have Ayame scold you publicly by your ears!"

Aika nodded and went straight to it. She dove headfirst into the ground instantly slipping beneath earth and popping up again. She shot out nearby and was working on molding her chakra in various ways to keep the maximum stimuli in her coils.(1) She formed several more seals, alot slower than her dancing was for her jutsu. She would tap the ground with her foot and make the conveyor of earth like she had done earlier once more. She held the jutsu for a bit before letting that one shut down.(2) She felt her muscle memory starting to engrain into things so she performed a small spin in place, the earth rising up under her and moving her into a higher position than she was in previous. She let her chakra slowly fall before starting again. (3)
Since she was woring on performing the jutsu and had limited chakra for the moment she was performing her lower ranked jutsu for this. She started again with placing her hands on the ground. Her eyes shut as she felt the chakra surging through her fingers and into the earth beneath them, the rocks being sent away in a steady stream. (1) As she finished the jutsu she let herself fall into the ground, sideways. She would pop up again at the point she had started, looking like she was squeezed and shot out of a tube. She moved onto her final jutsu for this step, forming her seals again. (2) She went through her seals and tapped the ground with a foot once more to rise on a mound of earth. She honestly wondered just how large she could make this spot so she pushed her chakra to try and make it bigger. This actually hurt her head so she shut her chakra down. She let herself rest and start recuperating before she would move on. She however would pull on sans sleeves twice as a signal that she was done, being careful not to be too abrupt and interrupt the two. (3)

Kaori smiled and bowed politely, "Thank you Satetsu, Sir." She said softly. Nova rumbled, displeased, and padded up to Sanshi and rubbed against him like an overgrown house cat looking for attention. Kaori blushed and looked at her long-time partner and friend, "Nova!" She scolded lightly, "I'm sorry Sensei." She said as she looked up at him with a blush very obvious on her pale cheeks, "But, well, Nova seems to want a Suna band as well." She said, hoping she wasn't asking for too much. The man before her seemed endlessly patient, but she'd prefer not to test that, seeing as he'd said he favored lightning jutsu. And Kaori was not fool enough to think she would be any use in protecting her friend, though she would try if need arose; they were partners in all things after all, "I hope you don't mind?"

Theodin turned and nodded to Sanshi, "Alright Professor, I'll keep pushing myself and will let you know if I run into any problems, thanks!" He then walked back over to check out the Raiton scroll again, finding some more jutsu he wanted to try, he walked back over to the dummy he'd been using.
Theodin stood about a meter away from the dummy as h focused his lighting chakra throughout his body. Once he felt he had enough focus, he made a quick sequence of hand signs that he'd seen in the scroll and released the chakra. As he did this, two rings of electricity formed around him and started rotating slowly around his body.

After resting a minute, Theodin tried the jutsu again, focusing his chakra. He reformed the hand signs and saw the lightning rings form around him again, this time moving much more quickly, like a gyroscope.
Dendou Kaitengi no Jutsu [ Electric Gyroscope Technique ] Learned!
After resting again, Theodin faced the dummy as he focused his lighting chakra some more. He then formed a quick series of hand signs and release the jutsu. Two kunai formed in each of his hands out of thin air and he threw them at the dummy and watched as they hit with a soft crackling sound and vanished.

Frustrated, Theodin tried the technique again, this time focusing more on making the kunai as chakra-dense as possible. He made the hand signs again and watched the kunai form between his fingers again, looking much denser and sharper than before. He threw the lightning kunai at the dummy and was pleased to see them slice through the metal armor on the dummy up to about halfway to the handle of the kunai. He sound smell the fabric of the dummy burn slightly.

Theodin sat down, leaning against the dummy he'd been using to train while he rested to recover some of his chakra. After about fifteen minutes, he walked over to double-check the hand signs for the next couple techniques he wanted to try.
Standing back from the dummy, Theodin focused his chakra again, collecting chakra around his entire body. He quickly formed some hand signs and bent down and placed his hands flat on the ground. Suddenly bolts of lightning flew up from the ground all around him.

The young genin rested a few minutes before trying the jutsu again. When he was ready, he focused his lighting chakra throughout his body has he formed the necessary hand signs. He then forced all the energy into the ground and touch the ground with his hands. The bolts of lightning flew up out of the ground again, this time in a slightly musical rhythm.
Shinkou Arashi no Jutsu [ Rising Storm Technique ] Learned!
Next Theodin focused more chakra and made another series of hand signs he had seen in the scroll. Mist began to form in the young ninja' hands as a cloud of mist formed around him. Then the cloud rose a few feet and lightning bolts started shooting towards the ground near where Theodin was standing. He quickly jumped out of the cloud when a bolt hit a foot or two from him.

Theodin made the hand signs again and watched as the cloud formed around him again. This time, he jumped out of the cloud just as it started to rise, knowing to get to a safe distance before risking being struck by his own lightning. He then drew his sword and threw it so that it stuck into the ground in the middle of the cloud, to act as a lighting rod to protect the others in the room from stray lightning.
Raikou no Yobigoe no Jutsu [ Call of Lightning Technique ] Learned!
Theodin rested a while to recover from the strain of the last technique he'd learned, He then focused his chakra into his fingertips. The young genin formed a couple quick hand signs and released the chakra. Long chakra threads extended from his fingertips, made completely of lightning chakra. He swung these threads at the dummy in front of him and watched as they wrapped around it, causing a crackling noice and leaving thin burns all over the dummy.

After a minute, Theodin decided to try the technique again. Focusing chakra into his fingertips again, he made the required hand signs then threw five kunai toward the dummy. He caught the rings of the kunai with the lightning threads and used twitches of his fingers to alter their course, swinging them around the dummy before pulling them in to strike it.

The son of James and Ayame looked perfectly at home doing his training, seemingly busting through technique after technqiue. Strong will, independent, San knew he could just be allowed on his own for now. When the time was ready, and he was less busy, san would work with him on his own.
When the large house cat rubbed against san, the first thought was "how would daichi respond to the smell. This would be getting rather interesting. Maybe he get jelly? "Aw, ok, lets se what the Professor got up his sleeves." Poof! in a plume of smoke, San would be holding a band for the large cat.
Having his sleeve pulled on and noting the finishing of Aika, San went through his memory to figure out what else she would need to accomplish. "Aika...you ahve meditated and performed to enhahnce your pool....seems all you need now is a spar???"

Kumiko picked up the medical nin scroll once more, sreahcing for the technique Sanshi describe before performing the hand signs as she summoned two rather unnerving looking corpses. While she was a medical ninja and would be seeing a lot of corpses in the future, she was still a child. Henceforth, she felt a little disturbed by looking at what was once alive.

Resealing the bodies again before practicing the technique once more, Kumiko summoned the corpses again, still a bit anxious form the sight of them. "..." Resealing the bodies away, Kumiko went over to Sanshi and pulled on his clothing before giving him a small hug as she buried her young face into his clothing to hide her uneasiness.

Kaori took the headband from Sanshi and smiled politely, "Thank you sensei." She said as Nova butted her large head against the man's hand in her own version of thanks. Kaori and Nova both bowed and backed away before turning and going to the library like Sanshi had suggested. She needed some scrolls to study anyway, and it didn't look like to many other the other Genin were focusing on Doton or Fuuton jutsu. She found the scrolls needed and then walked with Nova back to the Academy to practice. She sat down and smiled as Nova wrapped around her from behind and rumbled in the tiger version of a purr. Kaori opened the scroll for fuuton and read through it. She picked out several jutsu that would be useful to learn, though she planned on learning as much as possible.
Koari stood up, scroll still in hand and pressed to her nose as she read it through once more. She put the scroll down with Nova and stepped away from everyone a few paces. She didn't want to accidentally injure anyone after all. Kaori took a few deep breaths and focused her chakra and wind into her hands, the ball was small, barely the size of her fist.[1]
She bit her lip and drew her hand back, focused on the training dummy off to the side of everyone, and threw her hand forward rapidly, she released the ball of chakra and wind then watched as it hit the dummy and exploded on contact with the wood. She smiled slightly as she saw the deep cuts in the wood of the training dummy. She stepped forward and and made her hand signs and focused more chakra and wind into the into her palm and into another ball. but this time she added more chakra and wind, she made the ball bigger the size of both of her fists together, and threw it at the dummy. A bigger explosion occured, but not too big, as not to disturb the other genin and Sanshi. The gashes in the wood were even deeper.

Theodin took one more glance at the Raiton scroll, seeing an extremely powerful jutsu he wanted to try, he scanned over the hand seals a few times, saying them to himself to make sure he remembered. When he felt that he could remember the jutsu, he walked back to his training dummy, pulled his sword out of the ground and resheathed it to keep it out of the way. He then began to focus a huge amount of chakra into his hand as he made the required seals. When he made the final hand seal, a burst of electricity shot from his hand towards the dummy, hitting it head-on. The dummy stood there smoking, the exposed wooden parts completely incinerated.

Theodin sat and rested for a few minutes before trying the jutsu again.When he felt better, the young genin focused his chakra more as he formed the hand seals again. At the final seal, another jolt of lightning shot from his hand towards the dummy. This time the armor on the dummy was blasted through and the rest of the wooden structure crumbled.. "......Oops.....that was really cool though.." Theodin said as the dummy crumbled to ashes.

I love those who can smile in trouble, who can gather strength from distress, and grow brave by reflection.
Kaori looked at Nova and smiled at the large tiger, she had her paws on the scroll, claws carefully away from the delicate paper so as not to tear it, it looked like the feline was trying to read the jutsu found in the scroll and learn them herself. Kaori walked over to her and read over Nova's furry form. She hummed softly to herself as she thought about which jutsu she wished to learn next. She nodded once she settled on the next two she wanted to learn and stood up once more. She took out one kuni per hand and focused her chakra into the air around her hands and the kuni.[1/2]
Kaori focused on one of the dummies, the one that the silver haired male hadn't obliterated, and threw the kuni, and with a single hand sign, made the wind around it force the metal to fly through the air even faster than it would have with just her own throwing power. Both kuni lodge in the dummy with dull thunks, deeper than they would have been without the aid of the jutsu. [2/2]
Kaori remembered the second jutsu she had wanted to try to learn and made a second hand sign and extended her chakra to the kuni and made a 'come hither' motion with her hand. The kuni quivered, but didn't move beyond that. [1/2]
Kaori huffed in slight frustration and made the appropriate hand sign once more and put more chakra into the justsu she was about to use. She made the same 'come here' motion once more, and beamed as the wind caused the kuni to come back to her hand as if she had a string attached to them.[2/2]

She couldnt hold the look long though and it hurt her head to try and do. She rubbed her eyes with the side of her hand to clear them which just served to irritate them slightly. She let out a sigh and just stood in wait. '

(Reductions : Dojo + Genin Buki + PA) "Of all the horrible things she could do to me!" Zel thought to himself as he made his way into the dojo. Eying then slowly approaching the nearest training dummy with an angry look. With a quick flick of his wrists the short, sharp blades hidden in his bracers showed. The left one soon found itself forced into the dummy's head, then the right soon followed this time through the stomach. (1/1) Basic Stab
Not being satisfied (or rather, not having vented out his anger) enough, Zel drew both blades out of the dummy and raised his arms high. Then bringing the katars down in a quick overhead chop to the dummy arms. "I'd rather be doing inventory instead!" (1/1) Basic Chop
Then stepping back while maintaining a fighting stance, Zel faced another dummy several steps away. "But no! She makes me train!" Zel rushed to the dummy in a series of forward steps, matching several swipes and stabs of his blades with each step. The forward motion added enough striking power to make his blades 'whoosh' to a very light extent. He chopped the dumy head clean off upon getting in range. (1/1) Forward Step
Then going on the defensive, he made quick backwards steps as he imagind the dummy attacking him. It was a fast movement meant for escape. Zelkova didn't really need it right now, he wanted something to sink his blades into. (1/1) Backward Step
But it was a basic technique, and it felt strange for him to go on without it. He then imagined an opponent striking him from above then below, to which Zelkova would respond by blocking. He repeated the motion near endlessly, til it was no longer alien to him. (1/1) Basic Block
It was strange how Zel had such capacity for weapon techniques. Being able to break down to the smallest detail most studied moves and being able to do them skillfully within a few tries. His potential was great enough that even after not using his techniques for ages just a few hours of practice could bring them to their former glory. Just like now while he goes through the motions of the second stage of his favorite sword style, Shunkan no Hagane. In front of a dummy that could move (or at least, did an overhead chop over and over with a wooden sword) Zel stood in a fighting stance and practiced his blocks and counterattacks. As the wooden blade came down he would pivot his left leg and follow the momentum with a block using his left blade, forcing the dummy's attack to a halt. Next he'd grind his katar down the dummy's sword, closing his distance even more so as the 'katana' blade peeled thanks to the katar's edge. Zel then moved back slightly and let the dummy set itself back into place before moving on. Zel took his stance and waited. Th moment the katana started to come down, Zel moved his left katar to intercept it, as the blades clashed Zel pushed the dummy's away so it would miss. Then finally for his last technique Zel aimed with his right katar at the focal point of the dummy's weapon, quickly guiding the blade to it then with just enough force he'd push the blade away and out of the dummy's hands. (1/1 1/1 1/1 1/1) All of Shunkan Stage 2
Next up, was to take a break. With all his anger and annoyance having turned into (surprisingly)exhaustion from him practicing on the dummies he had no choice but to rest. He laid on the floor staring at the ceiling. At this point even he had to admit, his long, long break was too much. These simple techniques tore through his stamina, while years ago he would have done these basics hundreds of times in a day and still be ready to go. Plus, he was starting to get fat. "Gotta look after my health too I guess soooo I'll go here once a week or two, maybe three. I'll think about it when I wake up. " In a matter of seconds Zel dozed off to dreamland. Strangely enough his dreams were him in his younger years practicing Shunkan no Hagane's third stage. Images of him practicing his balance by walking on thin wires but failing miserably once he tried to ran. There was also him still swinging around a katana, making countless cuts and stabs on a dummy. Then another, similar scene again, only this time he was making cuts on the dummy even without contact with the blade. Not only that, he saw images of his young self taking multiple fighting stances as his sensei pushed him around til Zel wouldn't fall down thanks to good footing. (1/1 1/1 1/1 1/1) All of Shunkan Stage 3 (Post made small because this is just a horribly long post of training and I'm talking to no one. )
After finishing all such nonsense with training for the moment, Zel left the compound.
