High in the foothills of a mountain lies an unnaturally flat patch of land. A river runs through the middle, providing the creatures that live there with sparkling glacial runoff and creating a spectacular waterfall as it careers off the edge of the plateau. A strange variety of deciduous trees dot the landscape, providing shade and food. The place is clearly not natural, and whomever created it must've had a sense of humour, because the sign over the mountain path says "Astral Plain."

Averial is ___mum on the subject, but it's possible even she may not know where she came from. She's friendly, curious, and intelligent, if highly mysterious, and has an ___understandable fascination with the night sky and astronomy. She's the leader of the pasture, though prefers to lead through guidance rather than law.
