The Horno (Pendleton) fire is 80% contained according to the OC Register.
I talked to someone today who tried to drive through Pendleton late Tuesday night (on the I-5) and it was closed. He slept in his car in Oceanside and was able to drive through Wednesday morning.

The Santiago fire is spreading north (away from me) and is threatening homes in the canyons.

but that brings back memories.....oh but not of fires....of sleeping in the car because someone had gotten lucky back at the club and they were my ride home....hehehe a true wing man I was!
