The Pet Park (Open to all Masters/Mistress's and their pets)

The pet park is a place for Masters and Mistress' to take their pets and let them have some good innocent fun. This park is intended to be a place pets are taken as a reward or a privelage given to the pets by the owners.

The entire park is enclosed by an eight foot tall fence covered in ivy. Ivy has been allowed to grow over it to ehnance the natural aspect of the park and not to look like a cage. The ivy is trimmed back so that a sign is visible at the front gate.

The sign reads as follows:
"Welcome! This is a park for pets and owners to come have a bit of good clean fun. It is a place for pets to mingle and play with others, and to be allowed to run loose and free for their time here. Although owners may enforce any rules they like on their pets while they are here, they are encouraged to allow their pets free reign to be themselves and socialize. With that being said, owners are still held solely responisble for their pet's behavior. Should a pet act out of line, the owner will be held accountable, so be sure that your pet plays nicely with others and does not leave a mess behind in the facility.

As owners are responsible for their own pets, no strays or pets here on their own are allowed with the sole exception being pets employed in the maintenance and upkeep of the park. Any strays or pets without owners present will be taken to the pound. Pets with tags on their collars telling who their owner is will have their owners notified to come to get them. For strays and collarless pets, they will be held for two weeks for the owner to arrive before being put up for selection by a new owner."

Inside the gate is a small 5*5 room with another door. This is to keep any pets from being tempted at an easy getaway, even if they could open the door themselves.

Inside the fence are two acres of land in a rectangular shape. The door is in the middle of one of the longer sides. Spread out near the entrance are several moveable wooden benches and picnic tables for the owners to sit and socialize with other owners. Though this area is intended for owners alone, if the owners wish to show their pet a much higher form of respect than normal for a pet, then the owners may feel free to invite their pet to sit and talk with them.

Beyond the tables is a wide open grassy field. Though there are no toys at the park, owners are welcome to bring some for the pets to enjoy.

In the middle of the park, but a good three hundered yards farther back from the tables is a large lake. The lake is surrounded by a thicket about ten feet deep of trees of varrying ages from new saplings to tall sturdy ones. Several branches overhang the water deep enough to jump off them into the water. At the shore, there is a long low pier only a few inches above the water that reaches far into the lake, though not to the middle. The water gradually gets deeper as you get farther into it. At it's greatest depth in the middle is roughly 30 ft and the deck reaches out to 15 feet deep. Nailed to one of the pillings is a sign,
"Swim at your own risk. No life-guard on duty."

Owners are allowed free reign over the park and are not limitted to the benches, however they may choose to sit, talk with other owners, and watch their pets rather than to go amongst them.

The park gets the occasional wild-life. A few birds in the trees, sometimes a few squirrels running about, or if you're lucky, you may spot a fish or two in the lake.
