Hey Suites. I'm still in boot camp; I'm at the library at Fort Knox right now (we're on our day off). As the title states, I will be coming home in about 1 week.
So far, we've done survival rafting, survival swimming, stream crossing, land navigation, battle drills, basic rifle marksmanship, basic ceremonial drills, and a crapload of other things in-between. The next few days will be tough: we have our final physical fitness test tomorrow. Saturday, Sunday, and Monday will be Squad Tactical Exercises, which means we'll be "camping" (as the drill sergeants put it) for 3 days, all while practicing squad tactics. Things wind down Tuesday and Wednesday, where we are out-processing. Thursday is Family Day (another day off) and Friday is graduation, where we finally get to go home.
There's a little info, just because I like keeping others updated. Hope you all are doing well; I sure know I am (or at least I would be if it weren't for boot blisters). Talk to you in a week 3nodding
I'm back! smile
