Is anyone interested in being real life penpals? I've got some cute stationary I bought and I love handwriting but I never have a reason to write and thought it'd be cool to bring back the ancient form of hand written greetings. razz
This involves trusting me (or others who want to participate) with your real mailing address.
I understand this is a large trust thing but there are friends I have here in the guild whom I'm sure would trust me with their address (and trust that I won't stalk them because I live too far). Please feel free to decline this, by all means. I don't want you to feel unsafe or get in trouble by your parents.
We can do a penpal program (sending letters between multiple people) or it can just be you and me.
ATTENTION
Please PM PukeFacedFreak your home address/PO Box address and let her know whether you are wanting your information to remain private (meaning only I will write to you) or if you want your information shared (that way you will be getting a letter from me and other people on this list)
PARTICIPATE AT YOUR OWN RISK. (i suggest if you're under 18 that you don't give out your address as you may get in trouble by your parents)

Hooray! Ok, so 2 people want to penpal so far. One says yes to a program. Would you guys be comfortable with sharing addresses between each other? We can do a rotation.
I would like to also suggest that we do a certain rotation which includes 1 letter to be personally to the next person, and one which is a short story, in which each person writes a paragraph or something and we can write a short story. That may get a bit pricey though. I used to do those 'add a sentence' thingies in class when we were all bored. razz

Ok guys, those who want to participate should PM me. I need to know your address, your name (unless you just want me to use your Gaia name) and weather or not you want your information circulated - meaning if you just want me to have your address to send letters to, let me know, but if you want it shared with the other participants of this project, I will send your address to one other person who's job would be to write me back and to also send a letter (or postcard or artwork, whatever) to another participant. Also in your PM let me know if you have a suggestion for what you'd like to receive. A drawing, a letter, maybe even a topic you want written or a comic you'd like me to draw out, or avi art.
I'm going to start doing these. I have a few halfway done but would like to kind of personalize each one (if I can think of something).
