Music Theory

I'm not musically gifted, but I actually understood everything my friend taught me about music theory so far. Pretty interesting stuff. :]

It's what basically 99.9% of all music and compositions are written based on.

Ahh, I see. And what is this theory

Like if you would write music off of a Major key... for example the E MAJOR then, in theory the rest of your music would not sound "right" if you played any note outside the range of that major key.

I'm pretty sure there's a lot more advanced stuff to it, but this is just what he has taught me so far.

Something like that, would be pretty hard to find I guess. =P but can't you play by ear? ninja
