Shall I watch The last air bender or not? It sounds like a big time disappointment. if it really is, i dnt want to waste my time just to be furious about the film makers. But after all it is based on heart Avatar : The Last Air Bender heart . So? what do you think?

If you're so curious about the movie that waiting to see it is going to torment you just as much as the frustration when you actually see it, then go ahead.
Otherwise, wait for DVD or find an online stream of it.
It's pretty much just the TV show with all of the jokes, lightheartedness and sarcasm taken out. Oh, and with dialogue so incoherent that sounds like it's been run through an internet translator a few times.

Rainbow Flavored Crayon i didnt liked it , there was like more Kung-Fu then bending , and fire benders cant even create there own fire and the Kyoshi Warriors arent presented Were removed, you mean. The Kyoshi Warriors were filmed, unfortunately the one picture of them I ever saw I can't seem to find but there is this. The picture I saw was in an article I can't seem to find but Shamanllamadingo said that the Kyoshi Warriors were too cool to put in the first movie and cut out all the scenes with them. That really sux.Edit: Found the interview complete with a picture of the Kyoshi Warriors. This one has the image I saw. This one has some additional information on it. I'm still sad that they went through all the trouble to film them and cut them from the movie.

It is a major waste of time wait for the DVD. Trust me, and I want M. Night to die for ruining a good series, I mean "it needs to be serious" Umm they do a good job of it in the animiated series so why not in the movie. I do not care if the creators helped him obviously they helped him before he cut out these scenes.

I can't take people's opinions anymore xD I'm tired of having to defend the damn movie because people don't seem to understand what adaptations are, or how film making is done.

Okay, I shall make a list of everything wrong with this movie. Hopefully, it helps make up your mind. I'm sorry if I sound nitpicky, but I love this show, and it really bothers me how much they messed it up. (May be spoilers. If you care.) To those that liked the movie, I suggest you stop reading. I'll probably only make you mad. (If anyone would like to add to this list, please do. I know I can't get everything.)
1. Firebenders are not Indian. They have the palest skin in the animated series. 2. You can barely tell that Zuko has a scar. 3. Worst casting ever. Just terrible. I mean, they don't even look like their characters. Uncle Iroh? Firelord Ozai? Aang?!? 4. They can't even pronounce the names right. Iroh is not pronounced like EE-ro, Sokka is not Soke-a, Aang is not Aung. I mean, come on. 5. They mushed the whole first season together into one ultra-long, ultra-boring movie, which left little room for getting into the deep stuff. It seemed more like they were trying to just get the skeleton of the story down, forgetting to add any real meat. 6. Slow. Very slow. The bending took forever, the plot was running in slow-motion. It was torturous. 7. Gaps in the story. I know that they couldn't have fit everything in, I'll give them that. But they cut out the Kyoshi warriors. What up with that? And what was with replacing Avatar Roku with some weird dragon? 8. Appa looked strange. Very strange. Momo barely had a part. 9. Personalities were messed up. Aang was supposed to be carefree and optimistic. Not some tragic hero. Sokka was supposed to be funny and sarcastic. Not some serious . . . serious person. 10. Aang was supposed to get waterbending right away. He had no trouble with it. 11. I was at least hoping the ending would be good. The fight between Zuko and Zhao. Aang's cool koi-water monster. That might have been the only thing keeping me in the theater. But no. No fight. Zhao dies by some weird water-bubble thing, and Aang doesn't become a giant koi. Lame-o.
I seriously doubt that M. Night Shyamalan even watched this show. I really wanted to just get up and leave in the middle, but I still had some popcorn to finish.
