I personaly prefer Paladin - though it makes him seem less masculine.

I dunno. I believe there was always some sort or problem I didn't like with either of them. Paladin was always strong and willing to do stuff yet was girly. Dark Knight was always angsty and such but he looked awesome. I gotta say though, Dark Knight prevails. Just becaiuse I like Dark Knights.

Dark Knight definitely! Just because I think he looks girly in paladin form... But on the other hand his abilities are pretty sweet in paladin form.

Well it seems in the game that the Dark Knight has a negetive tone but in FFX-2 the Dark Knight job rocks alone for it's Darkness (AKA Soul Eater) attack and all the statuses it was immune to. It's what helped me defeat a very tough boss

But I say Dark Knight

I say Palidin just because he's more handy with white magic, and I would be fine with his paladin outfit... if he didn't have that stupid blue lipstick... stare
But I have to say that ffiv is one of my favorites (and the only one that I've played through more than once)

In terms of character design, I liked the dark knight attire more. It looks more like a battle costume comparatively. The paladin look doesn't work for me some reason. I think it's because of the lipstick and the bare upper arms. Again, all the mentioned are my opinion.

In terms of gameplay, then Paladin because of the healing spells among others.

I prefer paladin form but I thought he was a girl when I watched the opening the first time. Outfit sucks but at least the skills are awesome. biggrin

i refer have paladin cecil bcuz the lack of equipment the dark knight has and that he barely does damage to undead enemies. easy lvl up once yu get once paladin form IF yu got the Lustrous equipment from mysidia; just KO everyone except cecil and grind at mt. ordeals. but yes paladin cecil i perfer better than the dark knight form.

Yeah, while I do like the game, there are too many "noble sacrifices" for my taste.

I'd have to say dark knight. I'm a fan of that job class in general.
