This is one of the best Sonic games I've played in so long. biggrin

The soundtrack for one, was outstanding. I loved it with everything I had. SO many good tracks on it that I love listening to.

Level design in Colors is (almost)flawless. The levels worked well with their respective gimmicks and, aside from the lack of 3D areas, had lots of variance.

The gameplay mechanics are revamped from what Unleashed's mechanics ran on, making the boost more balanced and adding the wisps to serve as well needed refreshers to the gameplay. Finding all the shortcuts using wisps was quite fun, too.

The writing in this game was also quite good in particular. Possibly the best dialogue in a Sonic game I've heard to date!


So yeah, needless to say I love this game.
