Cain shook his head, writing on the paper, “No, I was just thinking.” He noted how Tori’ mood changed a little, how his voice was quieter and wondered why. It couldn’t be because of Cain, could it? He hadn’t even said anything and he was already making Tori unhappy.

Tori nodded and smiled a little. "Okay, just seemed like something was bothering you." he said with a slight shrug.

“You barely know me and you’re already planning to quit smoking,” Cain wrote on the page before raising a hand and scratching his chin. Although he didn’t ask why he hoped the statement was enough to convey he wanted to know why.

Tori nodded and smiled a little. "I would like to see you again, and I don't want you to say no just cause I smoke." he said with a shy smile. He didn't like admitting that he liked someone, but something about Cain had him intrigued and he couldn't help but admit it.

Honestly, Cain was looking forward to seeing Tori as well, although he didn’t understand it in the least. He wasn’t making Tori unhappy, which confused him and made him happy at the same time. And it wasn’t like he wanted to make him unhappy either. Cain liked it when Tori smiled. Cain flipped the notebook over and was about to write something down when he found that there was no more paper left. He frowned slightly, putting both the notepad and pen away.

Tori smiled a little and noticed the notepad get put away. "Out of paper?" he inquired, rubbing his bruised leg again.

Cain nodded, taking Tori’s free arm and pulling up the sleeve. “Do you know sign language?” He wrote across the bear man’s arm with his finger.

Tori looked down as Cain wrote on his arm. "No, I don't. You should teach me though." he said with a soft smile.

Cain nodded, thinking for a moment. Where to begin…? The basics for starters but what are the basics now that Cain knew sign language? After a while he wrote on Tori’s arm, “No.” He then pulled his hand back, making a half fits, his thumb, index and middle finger not part of it and closed the index and middle with the thumb.

Tori watched Cain form the symbol for 'no'. He tried to mimic the motion as best he could. "If I'm doing something wrong, correct me." he said, trying hard to just learn the one word.

Cain nodded again, taking Tori’s hand and making the gap between the two fingers and thumb bigger before closing deepskybluetogether. He then took his arm and wrote, “Your fingers where too close. This is yes.” Cain then made a complete fist and moved his wrist in a way that made it look as if his fist was nodding instead of his head.

Tori nodded and made another attempt at no before trying yes. He smiled triumphantly when he got both to look just like Cain had shown him. Excited with just that small accomplish he looked up at Cain, eager to learn more.

A slight smile came to Cain’s lips and he nodded. But of course, that was the easy part. He then took Tori’s arm again and wrote, “Remember.” Pulling his hand back, Cain put both his hands into fists, putting the right one at his temple, the other away from his body and almost even with his elbow. He pulled the right fist down, meeting with the other fist just barely, the thumbs touching.
