I'm looking for some awesome new anime to watch, or manga to read even, but I just don't know what!
I know there is a lot of newer shows (Like Durarara, and Code Geass), but I seemed to have missed that whole period of time. Lol!
So here is a list of shows I HAVE SEEN:
Dragonball Z
Yu Yu Hakusho
Full Metal Alchemist
Samurai Champloo
Gurren Lagann
Cowboy Bebop
Golden Boy (LOL!)
Trigun
Inuyasha
G Gundam
Gundam Wing
Death Note
And some I'm currently WATCHING (or need to watch):
Naruto and Bleach are a given haha...
Code Geass
Durarara
Gundam Seed (missed that whole train too)
Outlaw Star (need to watch)
The rest of the Gundam series(s) (need to watch)
But is their some awesome anime that I'm missing??
If so, please tell me! whee

Hmm, let's see...
- There's the new Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood! It follows the manga, so it's still ongoing.
- One Piece might be good, unless you don't want to catch up to 400+ episodes...
- Katekyo Hitman Reborn
- Death Note
- Axis Powers Hetalia
- Baccano (I know it was made by the people who also did Durarara)
- Maybe some of CLAMP's stuff (xxxholic, Tsubasa Chronicle, etc. etc.)
- To Aru Majutsu no Index
And tons of others, but these are ones that I've found fun to watch. :3

LOL! I might have to do it one day. I have seen the first season of the show. Definitally need to watch Japanese subbed though. razz

Surprisingly, I have never seen any CLAMP anime. Haha, probably should look for some. blaugh

As for Axis Powers Hetalia, there's only very very faint yaoi (I just call it shounen-ai). It's all implied and stuff. xD

I say Soul Eater...it's only 51 episodes long and it's like if Dr.Suess did an anime..(well the art style reminds me of his art) and there is some female fan-service in it

Bleach is always a good one. Almost 300 episodes but there are skippable filler archs.
Sayonara, Zetsubou-Sensei is like if azumanga & Love Hina had a twisted baby (quoted from Jade)
the rest of mine are already on your list or suggested and I'm still trying to catch up in Naruto Shippuden

i third the FMA: Brotherhood as well as the Baccano suggestions. for Baccano in particular i would recommend both the English dub and the subbed version because Funimation did a wonderful job with the voices and such (though i still prefer Vino in Japanese <3)
regarding Hetalia, as previously mentioned, a lot of the guy/guy romance is implied, and it's not really a huge part of the show if you don't make it such. i'm not a fan of yaoi and shonen-ai, but i watch it anyway because it's a fun series and it's actually rather informative about world history and politics. though i will say, you'll never look at global relations the same again XD whether it's sports, or some sort of agreement, i find myself imagining the Hetalia characters and how they would react.
additional recommendations...hm. i'll have to get back to you on that, because i've been reading manga more than i've been watching anime recently XD
